We are looking for a catered chalet somewhere in France (probably).
We want arrive on 3rd/4th March 2018, and leave on 10th/11th March 2018, and would probably fly into Geneva and hire a care, so car parking would be good.
There are 4 of us, 3 skiers and 1 snowboarder, all intermediate to advanced.
We would like 2 quiet double rooms.
Fully catered (breakfast/evening meal).
Close to lifts, or at least good transport offered.
Hot tub or sauna would be nice!
Basically we're looking for a fun, well-fed, holiday, in a lovely chalet, and it doesn't really matter where we are! Possibly with a day or two of riding/skiing with the hosts - not 'guiding', obviously!
Budget depends on what's on offer!

The Desmeuniere is a beautifully restored 18th Century Farmhouse with 8 ensuite bedrooms each with flat screen tv and dvd player. This luxury catered ski chalet boasts a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and vaulted ceilings, balconies with superb views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, a heated ski and boot room, a sauna, plus a sunken outdoor hot tub set in the stunning grounds. We provide a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, a pre-dinner drink and canapes, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 6 of your 7 night stay). We provide all bed linen, towels, bathrobes for adults, plus Occitane toiletries.
Please note that we are able to offer advice with regards any ski and snowboard school and equipment hire companies that you may need to use. The open plan living and dining room is centred around a log fire and feels warm and inviting. The room has large windows and opens onto a balcony which has a spectacular view overlooking La Tania’s pistes.
The bedrooms (5 twins and 1 double) each have their own bathrooms and we provide quality linen and towels during your stay. The ski room has a boot warmer, which turns putting ski boots on into a treat each morning!
The service
As a small company, your holiday is important to us and our team will ensure you will feel very well looked after during your stay with us.
Our catered service includes a hot option at breakfast, homemade afternoon tea and a four course evening meal with plentiful wine followed by coffee & chocolates around the log fire.
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere, good après-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
We can also assist with airport transfers: our prices are £75 per person for a return shared transfer from Geneva and £70 per person for a return shared transfer from Chambery.
We can offer a twin and double with ensuite facilities. The price is £649 per person based on twin share.

Between us and the other guests staying then (all knowing the Portes du Soleil ski area well) there would definitely be others to join on the pistes and all good fun too!
At Chalet Shufu it's NOT just the usual; our resident chef of 15 years (from distant Sichuan!) brings a special difference to ski chalet dinners not to be missed.
We are located 1hr 20 mins from Geneva airport, an easy 5-minute walk from the village shops, bars and restaurants and just 5 – 10 minutes from a choice of ski lifts to start out from (including quick access to highest slopes in Switzerland and Avoriaz) – there is absolutely NO walking required with our chalet to lift minibus service.

Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. The chalet is built over 4 floors, with a log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We would have 2 en suite rooms for the four of you at Chalet Genevieve in Val d'Isère from Sunday, 4th March.
You can ski to the door of the chalet, which is owner-run and situated in the exclusive La Legettaz area at the foot of the Solaise slopes. In the mornings you just need to walk 100 yards down the road before putting on your skis. All five rooms have their own facilities. There is an outdoor hot tub, large sun terrace, log fire, mini bar, boot heater, foot massager, free WIFI, iPod and base station, indoor and outdoor parking, to say nothing of the beautiful views up the Manchet valley and over the village.
The Espace Killy has over 300km of piste to suit all abilities and the off-piste possibilities are endless. The village is at 1850m and with two glaciers, you will be assured of good snow. The après-ski entertainment is also varied and plentiful.
Included in the price are breakfast (freshly-squeezed orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, porridge and a hot option, eg. poached egg and ham on a toasted muffin), afternoon tea and on 6 evenings we serve a pre-dinner drink with canapés followed by a 4-course evening meal with select wines. Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are available at all times.
It is a 10 minute walk across the piste into the village center or you can make use of the free minibus service that drops you right outside the chalet.
The price per person for the week is 1,379 Euros.

Our lovely owner-run catered chalet is in St Gervais Mont Blanc, still a hidden gem of a resort not visited by tour companies and part of the huge Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. We'd be delighted to welcome you to Maison La Cerisaie for the week of 3-10 March 2018. We can offer you two very quiet and comfortable double ensuite bedrooms, and covered parking for your hire car. Our spacious, owner-operated chalet is a beautifully renovated 1830s farmhouse with a luxury outdoor hot tub on our garden terrace, in the picturesque French Alpine village of Sixt Fer à Cheval, 75-minutes from Geneva airport.
Sixt is one of the 5 resorts of the Grand Massif, and we're in a beautiful, peaceful spot, 200m from the Sixt slopes and a 5-10 minute drive in our chauffeured minibus to a choice of ski lifts accessing the rest of the ski area - with around 265km of pistes for all standards. A unique feature of Sixt is a picturesque 14km ‘home run’ - the Piste des Cascades - from the summit (in Flaine) to Sixt, close to our chalet. We know the ski area very well and we'd love to accompany you for a day or two during your stay.
Our catered service includes delicious breakfasts, afternoon tea and 3-course dinners prepared by our professional chef, excellent wines and beers and all local drop-offs/pick-ups. We help you arrange equipment hire, ski passes and anything else we can to make your stay as easy and relaxing as possible.
Our per person rate for your week is €720 (currently about £640).
