Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
Our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms all have en suite shower room and wc. Each room has a double bed and single bed. Bunkbeds can be added to make family rooms sleeping up to 4. Chalet Grande Etoile is a traditional classic chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining area has a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif | Hi Step,
Our catered ski chalet is available for your dates and we sleep up to 22 people, but its fine to book sole occupancy for 14. We're based at Samoens 1600 in the Grand Massif which is the 4th largest ski domaine in France and has a huge variety of skiing. Its all connected without having to get on ski buses, with the exception of 1 run (The Cascades) which, at 14km long, is the longest blue run in Europe and goes into Sixt which you have to get a bus back from, but its TOTALLY worth it.
 
We have 6 large ensuite rooms, 4 of which are very large family suites which each sleep 4, and 2 of which are doubles.
 
We're a 3 minute drive from the pistes, so we drop you right on the edge of a blue, red or green run, so you don't have to walk anywhere at all in your ski gear. When you're ready to come back, just text us and we'll whisk you back for hot drinks in front of the fire, or G&Ts in the hot tub if you prefer.
For that week, we charge 800 Euros per adult and 650 Euros per child. We are currently offering free transfers from Geneva included within this price.

The service
After a day enjoying the incredible Three Valleys skiing, soothe any aches in the hot tub then sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind with a glass of bubbly while your hosts create an indulgent four-course meal.
The open bar includes beer, house wine, sparkling wine and soft drinks, with hand-picked wines especially chosen to accompany each meal. Nespresso coffee and chocolates are served around the log fire. A hearty cooked breakfast and home-baked afternoon tea treats are served 6 days during the week.
Part of our luxurious service includes a complimentary massage – the definition of relaxation!
For entertainment off the slopes, we also have satellite TV, a DVD player, WiFi, board games and books.
The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
We can also assist with airport transfers, our prices are £75 per person for a return shared transfer from Geneva and £70 per person for a return shared transfer from Chambery.

The property is in Meribel-Mottaret. Mottaret is the highest - and most snow sure - resort in the Meribel valley and as it's situated in the middle valley of the 3 Valleys you can easily access the entire ski area. We're clearly biased, but in our opinion its the only sensible choice of resort to stay in the Three Valleys - especially with the recent warm winters.
Lastly, we know how much easier and more enjoyable it is to travel on Sundays. The roads, airports and flights are all less crowded than on Saturdays. So our dates are Sunday to Sunday. In your case, 18-24 March.
We have five rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. We can sleep up to 12. Other features include:

The resort itself is very picturesque, but also has a lively centre containing several good bars, arranged around a village square and the ‘Bar Le Timbale’ has live music and dj’s at the weekends. The village is part of the huge Paradiski area (consisting of La Plagne and les Arcs, offering some 425km of pistes) and the Champagny ski area is directly linked into La Plagne – you can be in La Plagne Centre in just 30 minutes. The village has an excellent local ski school and the ski hire shop we use also has a free overnight equipment store with boot warmers, meaning you can walk back to the chalet in your normal shoes instead of clomping there in big plastic ski boots!

We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area - without the need for walking!
Our chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them.
We are also fully catered, offering:
- Champagne reception on arrival (for the adults!)
- 4 course meal on 6 nights with complimentary wines
- Daily cooked and continental breakfast
- Daily afternoon tea
We can arrange for delivery of discounted ski kit hire directly to the chalet for fitting, as well as lift passes.
Our nearest bar is a 5 minutes’ walk away, with plenty of other local distractions such as a new spa in Chatel, dog sleigh rides, ice skating and so much more.
Chatel is a great resort for all ages and abilities, including some very good snow parks for boarders. The local ski school is excellent and well located for handy drop offs and pickups – we’d be happy to make recommendations!

Chalet Pleney is in an envied position right on the Pleney piste, giving you the luxury of literally skiing in and out, but it is also just a 5 minute walk to the Pleney lift . It is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery with spectacular views in all directions but is also within easy walking distance of the old town square and all the bars restaurants and shops. Chalet Pleney boasts 9 ensuite bedrooms, a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and large picture windows looking over the mountains, a separate childrens play room with tv/dvd, free Wi-Fi internet, plus a ski/boot room, sunken outdoor hot tub and sauna.
The Desmeuniere is a beautifully restored 18th Century Farmhouse with 8 ensuite bedrooms each with flat screen tv and dvd player. This luxury catered ski chalet boasts a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and vaulted ceilings, balconies with superb views, a second mezzanine lounge with media facilities, free wi-fi internet access, a heated ski and boot room, a sauna, plus a sunken outdoor hot tub set in the stunning grounds. We provide a minibus service to and from the slopes each day plus the free ski bus which operates every 10 minutes stops just outside the chalet.
