We are a party of 7 adults, 2 children aged 5 + 8, and a 5 month old baby. We can fit into 4 rooms, it's no problem at all.
3 of the adults are non-skiers, so we would like somewhere with a bit of luxury.
We are looking to come on the 22/23rd for a week. Anywhere in France and we will be driving.
We would like a catered chalet if possible.

La Ferme is a beautiful converted Savoyard farmhouse in the centre of La Chapelle d'Abondance, close to Chatel, part of the Portes du Soleil ski region & 8 hours from Calais. La Ferme has 6 bedrooms and two of these are taken from the 26th but you would have the chalet to yourselves from arrival until then. It is the perfect venue for non-skiers as it is very spacious, is in the centre of the village with all local shops, bars, restaurants close by including some lovely walks plus the abbey in Abondance and spa complex in Chatel.
The 6 rooms are all ensuite with bath and shower facilities, toiletries, dressing gowns, hairdryers etc plus access to a sunken outdoor jacuzzi. The lounge/dining area is open plan with wood clad log fire and TV snug. La Ferme is fully catered: breakfast & afternoon tea each day, pre dinner drinks & 4 course evening meal with early children's supper option on 6 out of 7 nights. Christmas day is a traditional festive meal with champagne and 1 cru wines.
We are close to the local runs but also offer transport throughout the day to other start and finish points in the valley plus there is an excellent bus service for non skiers.
The price per adult is 675 GBP reduced from 750 and children sharing with 2 adults get a 50% discount, no charge for the baby.

On Christmas Day, in the evening, there's an English-speaking church service in the chapel, led by Julio Abraham, a very enthusiastic pastor from Derby. We decorate our chalets with a Christmas tree, and we'll serve a full works Christmas Dinner (if you'd like it) replete with Christmas crackers.
Meribel is in the heart of the 3 Valleys - the largest connected ski area in the world, with slopes to suit all standards. The resort itself has a lot to offer, with great bars and restaurants, swimming pool, ice rink, bowling, a cinema and plenty of shopping.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

Chalet Grande Etoile is a traditional classic chalet situated in the main street of the old town in Alpe d'Huez. The open-plan living and dining area has a comfortable, cosy, home-from-home feel. The superb central location of the chalet means that you are close to the shops, restaurants and bars plus the three main lift systems within two minutes walk. The chalet has been finished with alpine furnishings with a modern twist, a style which continues in all of the en suite bedrooms. The wellness area is a superb spot to relax in after a great day on the mountain, and don’t forget to relax on the balcony which, along with some of the bedrooms, enjoys superb views of the valley. We’d love to welcome you to Meribel Mottaret.
Chalet Clementine has 10 beds in 5 double/twin en-suite rooms. The living/dining area is open plan and spacious with a wood fire and great views up to Mont Vallon. After a hard day on the mountain you can relax in the sauna or enjoy a glass of wine whilst you wait for a delicious dinner to be served.
It is situated right in the centre of Meribel Mottaret, with plenty of restaurants and bars and it’s just a short walk across the car park to the slopes.
The price for sole occupancy for 23rd to 30th December is now reduced from £9000 to £6995.
We provide gourmet food starting the day with a hearty breakfast. On your return from the slopes there will be a homemade cake or biscuits for you to enjoy and the evening starts with canapés and cocktails followed by a relaxed and delicious 3 course meal with unlimited wine. We can also provide an earlier 2 course children’s meal.
The Three Valleys has excellent ski-ing for all abilities. The Meribel Valley has great, well thought out beginner areas, plenty of blues and reds, and more challenging blacks and accessible off piste for the more experienced. There’s fast access to both Courchevel with its vast open pistes and interesting couloirs, and Val Thorens, known for its high snow sure slopes.
We can help you organise your ski lessons, lift passes, equipment hire and transfers if you wish as we have good links with the local providers.
We know the Three Valleys well and as an independent chalet company we will tailor your holiday to your needs with our personal service.

Our chalet is perfect for chilling out over Christmas. We have great access to the skiing as we're right up in the domaine skiable, then we also have fantastic facilities for non-skiers too, including our lovely open plan living space, big enough to easily get your whole group around the fire, our outdoor hot tub, separate TV snug with around 200 DVDs, games room with pool table and free wifi.
 
 
We have free parking for up to 6 cars and you can also park up at the main car-park at Samoens 1600, and down in Samoens village for free. Samoens village is a fabulous place to wander around at Christmas. Its a medieval village based around a town square with lovely little shops and restaurants.
For 7 nights, we would usually charge 950 Euros per adult, 700 Euros per child aged 2-15 and 150 Euros for under 2s for fully catered accommodation, however, we're running a promotion where you get free transfers from Geneva airport included in the price.

We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes de Soleil ski area - without the need for walking!
Our chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them.
We are also fully catered, offering:
- Champagne reception on arrival (for the grown ups!)
- 4 course meal on 6 nights with complimentary wines - including an excellent Christmas Dinner...
- Daily cooked and continental breakfast
- Daily afternoon tea
We can arrange for delivery of discounted ski kit hire directly to the chalet for fitting, as well as lift passes.
