Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. We are based in the Grand Tourmalet resort - largest ski area in the Pyrenees. The resort is great for families, with lots of long, cruising green and blue pistes, as well as plenty of more challenging slopes and acres of off-piste for advanced skiers. The ski school here works particularly well with children, and you will find prices up to 1/3 cheaper than the Alps for lift passes, lessons, equipment hire, meals out etc.
We currently have a special offer for accommodation in March, just £350 per person (reduced from £495), and snow conditions are exceptionally good this year. The chalet has a sauna, equipment room, dining room and spacious lounge with bar, wood-stove, books & games, free internet and big-screen home cinema. We are based in the centre of the traditional village of Bareges, so close to all of the amenities, including the wonderful thermal baths, which are great for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes.

We are conveniently located between the quaint ski villages of Morillon and Les Esserts and 5kms from Samoens, located for easy access to the Grand Massif ski area which links 6 ski resorts via the lift systems. There is 265kms of pistes and we guarantee there is a brilliant range of slopes for differing abilities in your group. We are 200m from a blue run which you can use if the snow conditions are good.

We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area - without the need for walking!
