We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area - without the need for walking!
Our chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them. With free on-site parking, massive wrap around balconies, outdoor hot tub with amazing views and free WiFi throughout.
We are also fully catered, offering:
- Welcome drink on arrival
- 4 course meal on 6 nights with complimentary wines
- Daily cooked and continental breakfast
- Daily afternoon tea
We can arrange for delivery of discounted ski kit hire directly to the chalet for fitting, as well as lift passes.
Our nearest bar is a 5 minutes’ walk away, with plenty of other local distractions such as a new spa in Chatel, dog sleigh rides, ice skating and so much more.
Chatel is a great resort for all ages and abilities- linking into Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets, with excellent local ski schools, ideally located for handy drop offs and pick ups.

How are you getting on? We have a beautiful chalet for you for half term if you are still looking?
We are based in Saint Jean, near Morzine in the Portes du Soleil. We ask for 3500€ (c.£4560) for the self-catered chalet La Ferme de L'Abbaye.
The chalet has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and generous living and dining spaces. You will be on the free bus route and we can offer additional services if you would like.
- Transport to and from your choice of ski lifts each day
- Ski passes waiting for your arrival
- Equipment delivered to the chalet and collected when you are done.
- Catering to give the cook a night off
- Fresh Pastries delivered in the mornings
