We are a party of 8 adults (possible additional 2 but they haven't committed yet, so going ahead without them)looking for a chalet/apartment for the dates of 27 December checking out on the 2nd January.
Leaning towards Austria but open to other options.
We have a couple of non skiers so need some kind of communal space for them to hang out, but also would like to be nearby town centre/facilities so that they can get out and about easily.
Looking for something nice and comfortable, not basic.

We have a brilliant chalet here in Les Gets, France in the ski area of The Portes du Soleil. As we are part of the massive Portes du Soleil network with over 650kms of piste skiing and great for non skiers with plenty of walking tracks. The chalet is really close to the pistes and lifts and you can ski right to the chalet door.
The chalet has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 10/12 people and very modern with stunning views and everything you'd expect from a top quality ski chalet.
Kavakia you can ski back to within 100 metres and also on the free bus route we provide drop off services to insure ski school deadlines are met !!!!. I
We have lived in Les Gets and operated Mr Ski for 15 years so rest assured we are genuine, no what we are doing and there will be no surprises!.
If you don't know Les Gets its a beautiful alpine resort great for all levels of skiers. The village was here long before the skiing so has a nice atmosphere with plenty of bars, restaurants and boutiques etc. We have approximately 70% of repeat bookings - people keep coming back to Les Gets. We are about 15 minutes from Chatel and provide a private chauffer driven minibus to get your group to their choice of lifts and back each day, allowing for access to the whole Portes du Soleil ski area - without the need for walking!
Our chalet is massive, with en-suite bedrooms and American-sized suite rooms that have both a bath, separate shower room and TV lounge attached to each of them. With free on-site parking, massive wrap around balconies, large outdoor hot tub with amazing views and WiFi access throughout.
We are fully catered:

Cooked and continental breakfasts
Afternoon tea
We can arrange for delivery of ski kit hire directly to the chalet for fitting, as well as lift passes.
Our nearest bar is a 5 minutes' walk away, with plenty of other local distractions for any non-skiers in your party, such as a new spa in Chatel, dog sleigh rides, ice skating and much more.
Chatel is a great resort for all ages and abilities - linking into Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Gets, with some very good snow parks for boarders. The local ski schools are excellent and well located for handy drop offs and pick ups - we'd be happy to make recommendations.

We have a 12 bed chalet that is beautiful and comfortable, equipped with an outdoor hot tub and sauna. This can be available for your group for sole occupancy whether you are an 8 or a 10.
We can offer the whole of the Portes du Soleil for your skiing delight and feed you delicious food and wine when you return to us each night.
Alpine Action Adventures hosts your holiday in beautiful chalet Bernadine in Saint Jean D'Aulps in the Portes du Soleil; 55km from Geneva with Morzine, Les Gets and Avoriaz available for skiing and 1 mile walk to town.
We would ask for £6000 for sole occupancy with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, hot tub and sauna.
