| Hi, looking for a chalet for sole occupancy for my group of approx x14 (numbers may slightly change), normally go to France but would really like to try somewhere else like Italy, generally we go self catered but would look at trying a catered option this year, mixed group of adults and teenagers (youngest 12yrs), prefer ski in / out or VERY close to slopes, budget wise; we are regular families so wouldn't be interested in 'Designer' prices. We would still like everyone in 'proper' bedrooms so no mezzenanine beds

Farmhouse la Desmuniere is a beautifully renovated 18th century farmhouse with traditional features and full of character. The chalet’s eight en suite bedrooms are split over 3 floors and can sleep 16 to 21 people. The Chalet also features a log fire, balcony views of Morzine, ski/boot room, sauna, sunken hot tub, free Wifi, a large off road private car par for up to six cars and a large garden set back from the road bordered by a fenced stream.

Bardonecchia is the one of the oldest resorts in Italy. The traditional Italian town is set against a stunning mountainous backdrop with peaks rising to over 3500m, ensuring breathtaking views from this hidden gem.
It is a skiers’ and snowboarders’ paradise with immaculately groomed pistes and Olympic snow parks. It was host to the 2006 Turin winter Olympics and held the half-pipe and snow cross finals. Location: Bareges, French Pyrenees | Have you considered the Pyrenees?
We are based in the Grand Tourmalet resort - largest ski area in the Pyrenees. The resort is great for families, with lots of long, cruising green and blue pistes, as well as plenty of more challenging slopes and acres of off-piste for advanced skiers. The ski school here is excellent, and you will find prices up to 1/3 cheaper than the Alps for lift passes, lessons, equipment hire, meals out etc.
As a group of 14 you would have exclusive occupancy of the chalet, priced at just 440 euros per person half board (including a 10% group discount). The chalet has 6 bedrooms, a sauna, equipment room, dining room and spacious lounge with bar, wood-stove, books & games, free internet and big-screen home cinema. We are based in the centre of the traditional village of Bareges, so close to all of the amenities, including the wonderful thermal baths, which are great for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes.
Cheap flights to the Pyrenees are available with Ryanair to Lourdes airport (only 50 mins transfer), and prices can be as little as £45 return if you book early.
