We might have just the thing for you. We're chalet Ski Massif which is a family run chalet at Samoens 1600, the photo below is from Jan last year. Our chalet sleeps 22, and has a huge living space, all ensuite rooms and a huge garden for playing outside with toboggan run and outdoor hot tub
 
We're very close to the pistes, but we do provide private shuttles (3 minute drive) to and from the slopes, so you don't have to walk anywhere carrying yours plus childrens ski gear.
We're in the Grand Massif ski domaine which is the fourth largest in France, yet surprisingly unheard of by Brits (so far....)
Our local village is the historic stone masons village of Samoens which is gorgeous, there's lots of other activities there, such as snow shoeing, cross country skiing, ice-skating, trekking, parapenting, apres ski -my favourite 
We're available for week commencing 5th Jan, or the week after if you prefer.
We're within your budget because for groups of 17 or more, 1 adult stays for free, and we also include transfers for free. Our usual price is 695 Euros/adult and 545 Euros/child. However, with one adult for free, the total comes in at 9770 Euros which is £8677.20 on todays exchange rate and this includes transfers to/from Geneva which is worth £714.00 with www.gomassif.com which is the transfer company that we use.

We think Morin is a little gem - which might suit you perfectly.
We are an independently owned and managed chalet in Morzine. Built in the mid 1950s by a local architect as his family home with spacious seating and eating spaces, ideal for large gatherings of all ages. We offer a really personal service and can give you the best advice about the chalet and skiing the Portes du Soleil.
We currently have availability for 5th January. Our rooms vary from Family to twin/doubles, all with en suite or private bathrooms. Sole occupancy for Morin main chalet would be £8,800 - however, there are discounts if you have children under 12 who eat high teas rather than supper with adults. So it may well be completely within budget!
We have a large Hot Tub, south facing sun terrace and garden deck set in our own flat, tree lined garden. We also offer guests our driver and minibus service to and from the lifts daily (3mins) and for the more adventurous, a lift into the centre of town after dinner. We also offer the usual assistance with airport transfers, lift passes and ski/board hire in the comfort of the chalet as well as safe, secure parking for up to seven cars if you want to drive.

We’d love to welcome you to Chalet Sherpa in Morzine - just an hour and 20 minutes’ drive from Geneva airport and part of the massive Portes du Soleil ski region.
You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. You are indeed asking a lot but I hope we can help you for your enquiry for 17 (8 adults, 9 children). There is very little high altitude skiing close to Geneva for WC 4/5th Jan 19.
We have two stunningly pretty and high quality chalets just over one hour drive from Geneva.
For £9,000, I can offer you Chalet Entre Des Eaux in Montriond, Morzine. (WC Sat 5th Jan).
For £10,000 I can offer you Chalet Le Retreat in Montriond Morzine. (WC Sat 5th Jan).
If you wish to travel another couple of hours we can offer our "directors choice" Chalet Farmhouse in Villaroger, Les Arcs, Paradiski for £10,000.
Both chalets have hot tubs and airport transfers are INCLUDED (subject to time windows) as is free BEER and WINE with dinner and FINANCIAL PROTECTION.
