Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
We are now in to our 14th Ski season our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms. log burning stove dividing the dining area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
Fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet dropping you off at the Gondola 400m in under a minute. We also collect you from 5 different lift stations late afternoon

Geeski can offer you sole occupancy of our catered chalet, Petite Ourse in Samoëns, from 10/02 - 13/02.
Chalet Petite Ourse can sleep up to 6 people across 2 ensuite bedrooms. For your group these can be made up as a double and a twin. There is a cosy living/dining are with a fireplace and a decking with hot tub. From the chalet it is just a 5 minute walk into the centre of the village.
What we include in our prices:
- Airport transfer
- In resort transfers between the chalet and the lift
- Breakfast with cooked options
- Afternoon tea
- Canapés & prosecco
- 4 course evening meals with wine
- Discounts of equipment hire and lessons.

We would love to welcome you to stay with us at Chalet Alpe Massif, part of the Grand Massif ski area, with Flaine at over 2500 metres. We are less than an hour drive from Geneva airport.
We are conveniently located between the quaint ski villages of Morillon and Les Esserts and 5kms from Samoens, located for easy access to the Grand Massif ski area which links 6 ski resorts via the lift systems. There is 265kms of pistes and we guarantee there is a brilliant range of slopes for differing abilities in your group. We are 200m from a blue run which you can use if the snow conditions are good. We take & collect you to/from the lifts if you can't ski back.
We have all the facilities you need to make your ski break enjoyable and comfortable. We have a large living room with real log fire,a separate dining room with flexible seating arrangements. With stunning views. Our guests get a 10% discount from our local transfer company, approx 70 euros pp return.
We provide spacious en suite rooms £80 pp/pn.

Our family owned and run self catered chalet apartment La Terrasse is available for your dates on a sole occupancy basis. We can do 3 nights for 3 people for £1035.
It offers:

We are located in Samoens which is only 50mins from Geneva and part of the Grand Massif ski area, the 4th largest linked ski area in Europe. The highest point reaches 2500m and the 80% North facing slopes means that it is snow sure throughout the season. We are located just a few minutes from 3 of the main ski lifts and we run you to and from on our private mini bus.
We can also organise your transfers, ski passes, lessons and your equipment delivered to the chalet.
You can self-cater if you would prefer or we do offer a fully catered package with a big breakfast including croissants, pain au chocolates, cereal, porridge, eggs, bacon, fruit, tea coffee and juices. After a day on the slopes you will be welcomed with a homemade cake and in the evening our chef will prepare for you a four course evening meal including cheeseboard and port which is served with complimentary matched bottled wine and soft drinks.
