I'm looking for a weeks skiing for my grown up family of 4. From the weekend of 26/27 Jan for a week (can't travel before 26th Jan and have to be back by 4th Feb).
Prefer catered chalet. And within short walking distance (i.e. <100m) of either the slope/skibus or with minibus transfer to lifts.
Prefer any resort in France, Austria or Italy. Not Switzerland thank you.
We are not looking for cordon bleu luxury (wasted on my 'kids' - and bank-of-mum-and-dad is paying!), just decent filling food and comfortable rooms. Oh and wifi is a necessity (guess who requested this!?)
I'd also prefer not to have us all crammed in one room (2 or 3 rooms please).

Have you considered the Pyrenees? We are based in the Grand Tourmalet resort - largest ski area in the Pyrenees. The resort is great for all abilities with lots of long, cruising green and blue pistes as well as plenty of more challenging slopes and acres of off-piste for advanced skier. The ski school here works particularly well with children, and you will find prices up to 1/3 cheaper than the Alps for lift passes, lessons, equipment hire, meals out etc. The chalet is very comfortable and over 300 m2 with large en suite rooms. No cramming in at all!
Our price is just 450 pounds per person half board. If you would like to take exclusive occupancy of the chalet, this is based on the price for 12 sharing. The chalet has a sauna, equipment room, dining room and spacious lounge with bar, wood-stove, books & games, free internet and big-screen home cinema. We are based in the centre of the traditional village of Bareges, so close to all of the amenities, including the wonderful thermal baths, which are great for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes.
Cheap flights to the Pyrenees are available with Ryanair to Lourdes airport (only 50 mins transfer), and prices can be as little as £45 return if you book early.

Chalet Pleney is in an envied position right on the Pleney piste, giving you the luxury of literally skiing in and out, but it is also just a 5 minute walk to the Pleney lift . It is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery with spectacular views in all directions but is also within easy walking distance of the old town square and all the bars restaurants and shops. Chalet Pleney boasts 9 ensuite bedrooms, a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with log fire and large picture windows looking over the mountains, a separate childrens play room with tv/dvd, free Wi-Fi internet, plus a ski/boot room, sunken outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Your catered holiday includes your half board stay (cooked and continental breakfast, afternoon tea and cakes, a pre-dinner drink and canapes, plus 4 course evening meal with unlimited wine for 6 of your 7 night stay). We are in the beautiful Biosphere area of the Lungau valley, just 1 hour south of Salzburg.
It’s a hidden gem of a snow-sure ski area, we have 4 local resorts covered in one ski pass, offering 300km of great skiing for all levels.
3 of the resorts are just 5 minutes from the chalet and the ski bus stops at our front door.
Our doorstep slopes include the wonderful A1, one of Austria’s longest runs at 7km. It really is special!

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.

We have had a cancellation in our beautiful 8 bed catered chalet L'isiere in Morzine from Sunday 27th Jan - Sunday 3rd March. We would therefore be happy to offer you sole use of this 8 bed catered chalet at just £599 per adult and £479 per child under 12 years old.
The chalet is located close to the Prodains Express which provides speedy direct access to the high snow sure pistes of Avoriaz 1800. Although the lift is close to the chalet, we do also offer a shuttle service.
