We are a group of 4 families - 8 adults and 7 kids aged between 1 and 5 years old. We would be looking for 8 bedrooms, preferably but not necessarily sole occupancy.
We are looking for a catered option any time in February or March outside school holidays. We would like the adults to be able to spend the evenings together and so probably a chalet set up rather than a hotel. It would be great if the kids could eat early in the evening.
We would like to fly from London Gatwick but don't mind where to as long as the transfer isn't more than a couple of hours. We don't mind getting cars or not.
We would like an easy option for childcare - nursery and ski school.
The budget is roughly somewhere under £3500 per family for everything (flights, accommodation, transfers, childcare, lift passes, hire).

Chalet Barthelemy is based in Peisey Les Arcs and can sleep up to 22 people across 8 private double/twin ensuite bedrooms and a suite/play den with 5 single beds, living area and its own bathroom & toilet.
It features a hot tub on the large sunny terrace and a separate private indoor sauna and relaxation room. The chalet is 130m walk from the lobster pots that take you up to the Vanoise Express which links Les Arcs to La Plagne as well as the lifts to further up Les Arcs. It is possible to ski back to the bottom of the lobster pots.
Prices vary depending on what week/month you opt for but they range between £7100 and £8900 for sole occupancy.
The modern Chalet Hermine in Montchavin La Plagne is ideally situated for all amenities with uninterrupted views of the village, valley and Mont Blanc. It sleeps up to 14 but can accommodate more in the top floor suite - an ideal space for the kids to use as a bedroom and den area. The chalet features a private outdoor sauna overlooking the valley and village.
It is literally a few metres away from the telecabin to Les Coches and directly opposite Evolution 2 ski school and equipment hire shop. It is a minute or two walk away from the village centre.
We offer discounted ski lift passes and discounted equipment hire in both villages and can assist with organising your lessons, transfers and any childcare you may need.
Prices again vary depending on week but range between £7900 and £9200 for sole occupancy.

Morin and Morzine are great for families and groups - with so much to do both on and off the mountains. Our rooms vary from Family to twin/doubles, all with en suite or private bathrooms. There is an enormous main sitting and dining room, a conversation pit with open fireplace and a snug sitting room for afternoon tea and TV. You can relax in the main reception and dining room, sneak off to catch a film on the TV, or put your feet up and read a book. Location: Morzine, French Alps | Hi Ian. We have a lovely large chalet right in the centre of Morzine. Rasera is often booked by groups of families such as yours, as it is in such a great location 50m from the bottom of the Pleney slopes, 50m from the 3 main ski schools, and 200m from the excellent resort creche, l'Outa.
The chalet has a big flat front garden (great for kids to play safely in the snow!); a wide fireplace, a newly renovated kitchen, and 7 bedrooms + mezzanine on three levels, and 5 bathrooms.
We offer the chalet on sole occupancy self-catered, but many groups choose to add a fully catered option, and we are able to recommend several good private chef services who are able to tailor the catering around what you need as a group (and this often works out as a more affordable option than a catered chalet).
Chalet Rasera is booked for most weeks of the forthcoming season already, but is still available 29 Feb - 7 March at €4800, and 21 - 28 March & 28 March - 4 April. at €3900 per week. To have a fully catered service from one of our catering partners costs around €275 - €300 per adult for the week (and there are various rates for small children).

| I have recently taken on this large chalet at Valmorel, which has up to 20 beds in 8 all full ensuite rooms. It has a large lounge area and games room and an evironmentally-friendly wood fired hot-tub.
Valmorel is an excellent place for families, but with and extensive ski area and plenty of activities/facilites for everyone. It'a also quite a lot less expensive then the nearby 'mega resorts' like Meribel and La Plagne.
THe chalet is 1 hour from Chambery airport, 2 hrs from Geneva/Lyon/Grenoble.
Most of our 'off peak' weeks in Feb and March are priced at €6400 for exclusive occupancy. We are licensed for flights but we can arrange transfers at cost price, plus child-care, ski school etc.

Why us? Our chalet is in a very good location for families with small children as the lifts are close and its easy to take the up on the free local lift to meet skiers on the slopes for lunch or apres ski.
There is lots to do for young chilren, with a free bus taking you to the end of our magical valley where there is a nature park with beautiful (flat) walks, sleigh rides, huge eagles and vultures and a nice cafe.
For skiers, we are close to the lifts with easy off piste through the trees in a our local area as well as easy access to La Plagne as well as Les Arcs. We have seven bedrooms all ensuite sleeping 15 adults) in a fantastic chalet with a wrap round deck with hot tub and sunset views across to La Plagne, a very comfortable living area with log fire and views and great food, hosting and service. We love looking after families with young children and can adapt our meals and times to suit you.

We would love you to join us at Chalet Charlie in Tignes le Lac, sitting at 2100m, we are high and snow sure and the chalet is perfect for family groups.
   
The Chalet can sleep up to 16 guests in 3 suites and laid out across 4 floors and with its raised position, has stunning mountain views across the resort.
The Chalet is just 100m from the nearest lift and a couple of minutes’ walk to the village center/ski schools, bars and shops.It has a large lounge with log fire, pool table, movie room and outside hot tub.
As well as local ski school there are nanny services locally available.
Rough price for a week but its dependent you your date is £9999-£12999, get in touch for more details as we have a range of availability.
So we are a small family company, allowing us to focus on on the quality rather than the volume of a large tour company. Owner run we are in the chalets to ensure that all guests have an amazing stay with us.

Why us?
We LOVE looking after families with young children and with meal times and menus adapted to suit you
Our location is great for families. We are at the heart of Paradiski and there is plenty for non skiers to do. You can take your little ones up to meet the skiers at a sunny bar looking out over the piste for lunch or tea on our free local lift which is easy for pushchairs and super safe! We are at the head of a magical valley with ancient hamlets, giant eagles and chamoix as well as nature trails, toboganing, sleigh rides and easy snow shoeing. Perfect for little ones, its a scenic 15 minute ride on the free bus.
We can also recommend local ski school and childcare for your little ones.
The chalet is a great place to chill in the daytime. It has a light and spacious living area, a west facing wrap round sundeck and a hot tub with beautiful views towards Mont Blanc and acoss to La Plagne.
The local lift (a short stroll or 2 minute complementary ride) takes skiers straight to ski school at Les Arcs and to the Vanoise Express which links to La Plagne.
We can sleep 15 adults in 7 (sorry, not  comfortable rooms with space for cots.

Location: Alpe d'Huez | Dear Ian,
How about Chalet Baron in the centre of Alpe d'Huez?
The chalet has 8 en-suite bedrooms, comfortable living room with south-facing balcony, separate dining room, sauna and a large ski room with a boot heater.
Our chef Andy has been with us for 14 years and is very happy for you to choose the hours you'd like to eat. So children earlier with simple menus and the adults once the small ones are settled down.
The chalet has the nearest chairlift just below but the run down from the top may prove a challenge for the little ones. There is a free village shuttle bus which stops now just 50 m from the door and takes you straight up to the ski school and nursery area. There is a green run back to within 70m of the chalet or of course you can take the shuttle back down. The ski hire shop we use is literally 30m down the road so ideal for small children not wanting to carry skis 
There is a ski nursery for kiddies over the age of 2.5 and the local creche for the littler ones.
We could offer you the week starting 21st March to be clear of the French holidays and the UK ones!! The price per person is 695 euros and 495 euros per child.
Grenoble is our nearest airport at just over an hour away and we are happy to organise private transfers for you at around 36 euros pp each way.
