We are looking for a small catered chalet in a quieter resort, ideally ski - in and ski-out or not more than 50m to the slope .
Again ideally easy walk to village centre for a beer, or lifts for our two beginners
be helpful to have ski hire and lift passes sorted at the chalet plus info on best flights and transfers
Budget is upto 800 pp for accommodation for the week.

We would love to welcome you to Chalet La Luge in the friendly resort of La Tzoumaz, an alternative to Verbier with all the same great skiing, and quieter, gentler slopes this side of the mountain.
We have 6 rooms all with en-suite facilities, which can be arranged with super-king double beds.
Situated at an altitude of 1576m we are 600m from the pistes (inc nursery) and very popular après bar, 800m from the resort centre.
We run drop offs every morning, getting back is easy, the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet and it's all downhill :0)
Ok, so we're not quite as close as you'd like, but price-wise we're well within budget - we get a lot of repeat guests!
We have both a hot tub and sauna, separate cinema/Smart TV/play room, as well as a computer linked TV in the living room.

What a find!
We stayed here for a week in April with our 13 year old son. Our room was well equipped with everything we needed and was very clean as well as cleaned daily. Breakfast was a good choice of continental style food as well as scrambled egg and bacon. The real bonus though was the pool and hot tub, games room and pool table which meant he was occupied day and night! Only a short walk into town although there is a bit of a steep hill to come back up. A bus stop right outside the hotel but the hotel takes you to the lifts in the morning anyway. Having said that it is only a few minutes walk to the super morzine lift. For what we paid for this hotel it was absolutely brilliant and we would definitely come back.

We would love to give you a great holiday and can offer you three spacious double bedrooms half-board at 770€ per person. The tariff includes breakfast, homemade teatime cakes, 5 evening meals with wine. Chalet Châtelet is a unique owner-run catered eco chalet on the French/Swiss border of the Alpes set in a spectacular mountain panorama. We have a reputation for delicious food made with fresh, local and organic ingredients and personal service (see Trip Advisor).
On the first floor a special log stove heats the sitting room with huge comfy corner sofa. There is a flat screen TV, Sky+HD, and freeWiFi throughout the chalet. You also have access to a two person infrared sauna and a secluded outdoor hot tub in an acre of garden with parking for several vehicles, back off a quiet road. We can arrange in-house massage or reflexology and yoga sessions.
We are situated in the heart of the mountains on the edge of an authentic pretty village surrounded by ski resorts just over an hour from Geneva. Our local resort of Abondance is 5 minutes by chauffeured shuttle. As well as downhill skiing for all abilities, it specialises in ice driving, husky sledding, ski-joering with ponies, cross-country skiing and snowshoe trekking in complete tranquility. All French Portes du Soleil lifts with 650 Km of pistes are within 5-30 minutes of the chalet.

How are you getting on with your search?
If you are still looking we invite you to stay at Chalet Bernadine, just 55km from Geneva airport and part of the Portes Du Soleil with 630km of skiing.
We offer warm beds, hot tub, sauna, chauffeur, all your wine, beer and bubbly is on us during dinner, plus a cocktail with your pre-dinner canapes.
My husband and I have run Alpine Action Adventures for the last 6 years and we have had nothing but 5 star reviews from our guests. We provide a place that feels like home with all the special treats you expect from a ski holiday.
The Portes Du Soleil offers excellent skiing/boarding for all abilities with beautiful tree line runs and great unpisted areas to explore. We drive you to and from your choice of lifts in the area so there is no walking about in ski boots and you can tackle a different resort each day.
When you return each day there will be afternoon tea & cakes or hot wings and beer one day if you are so inclined (our fave!) then chill in the hot tub and sauna until dinner is ready.
