we fit all your requirements apart from walking to town.
The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels and the off-piste here is outstanding.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to the Samoëns 1600 ski station. You will feel like you're properly immersed in the mountains, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. It is an idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up to the slopes in the morning.
Because of this location I can drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste in less than 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of the people that take 40 minutes to come up from the villages, and you can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
At night, from the hot tub, you get amazing views of the stars because of the lack of light pollution.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

Situated at an altitude of 1576m we are 600m from the pistes and very popular après bar, 800m from the resort centre.
We run drop offs every morning, getting back is easy, the free ski bus stops 100m from the chalet and it's all downhill :0)

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. The Price for the fully inclusive break would normally £800.00pp for the four nights but we are offering an early booking discount reducing this to £695.00pp

We would love to welcome you to stay with us at Chalet Alpe Massif, in Morillon, part of the Grand Massif ski area with Flaine at 2500m. We are less than an hour drive from Geneva airport.
We are conveniently located between the quaint ski villages of Morillon and Les Esserts and 5kms from Samoens, located for easy access to the Grand Massif ski area which links 6 ski resorts via the lift systems. There is 265kms of pistes and we guarantee there is a brilliant range of slopes for differing abilities. We are 200m from a blue run. We take & collect you to/from the lifts if you can't ski back.Close to ski school.
We have all the facilities you need to make your ski break enjoyable and comfortable. We have a large living room with real log fire,a separate dining room with flexible seating arrangements. We would love to welcome you to our chalet. It would be £599 pp including free return Geneva airport transfers( about 1 hour 15 minutes).
We are about 15 minutes from Pre la Joux/Chatel and would provide a private chauffeur driven minibus to get you to your choice of lifts and back each day. No walking in ski boots carrying skis! You would have the whole Portes de Soleil ski area.

Stay in Chalet La Ferme de L'Abbaye for £5225 with catering for up to 11 people. the Chalet has 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and 2 lounge areas for groups to relax in after a day on the slopes.
The region - The Portes Du Soleil is just 55km from Geneva airport with 630km of skiing across French and Swiss resorts. The Portes Du Soleil offers excellent skiing/boarding for all abilities with beautiful tree line runs and great unpisted areas to explore. We can advise on the best places for kids to experience skiing for the first time and all you ski ninjas out there!
Food - delicious 4 courses with canapes and drinks to start and all your wine, beer and bubbly is on us during dinner. Breakfasts are extensive with all the favourites to set you up for the day. When you return each day there will be afternoon tea & cakes or hot wings and beer one day if you are so inclined (our fave!). One staff night off for you to get your fix of local nightlife.
