You can ski to the door, and the lifts and beginners are are 150m from the chalet.

What an exciting idea to have Christmas in the Alps - I bet your six-year-old is excited!
With availability from 21st to the 26th December either in our en-suite double room with an additional single bed, or if you are happy to pay a single supplement we can provide the family suite upstairs. Our chalet manager, Kat, is wonderful with children and has been working in Camp America for the last few Summers (and this is her third season back with us!) - Just ask Simon Hughes at jellconsulting.com who is coming back to us for his fifth holiday with his 8 year old and 4 year old (she wasn't around the first time!!)
We are situated in a family-friendly resort with events put on by the Tourist Office specifically for children and families.
Additionally we are the shortest drive from Calais yet the fourth largest ski resort in France, making the journey quick and easy (just 20 minutes up the mountain from the A40 motorway). Should you decide to fly we are only one hour from Geneva.
Having brought our kids up here in Les Carroz, all the while running our catered chalet, I can vouch for the ski schools and instructors (my once six-year-old is now a ski instructor with the ESF) and we can recommend and organise ski lessons for your daughter (and yourselves if you wish!).
Six days is £695 for each adult and £350 for your daughter. We have a Christmas tree and the full works for Christmas meal. Only four evenings catered of your six.
Finally we can provide ski passes, ski hire, lockers at the telecabine, book lessons and book restaurants.

Will-i-ski? is an independent owner run chalet company dedicated to bringing you a unique holiday you will not forget. We (Phoebe and Charlie) currently run the Chalet Marmotte in La Plagne 1800 and feel the chalet can deliver everything you require for a traditional and cosy chalet holiday.

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.

Personally, if you are actually looking to get some skiing in then I would be looking at the high resorts only!!
The chalet and resort works great for a mix of non skiers, plenty to do and easy lift access.
Chalet Les Andes is in the heart of Tignes le Lac, sitting at 2100m, it’s snowsure as we currently have guests skiing on the glacier!!
   
This really is a premium chalet for those looking for just as much fun off the slopes as on. We has a sauna, hot tub, indoor pool, large comfy lounge with TV and pool table, separate cinema room with xbox. We offer great food and paired with some fantastic wines
Location can get much better, just 300m to the village center, ski schools and lifts, returning home ski off a blue to 50m of the front door.
Price for the stay in a family room £1200
We are a small family company, allowing us to focus on the quality rather than just getting people through the door (like a large tour company). Owner run, myself and wife plus our dedicated team, go out of our way to ensure all our guests have an amazing stay. It’s the attention to detail that makes good holidays, great one's!!!
