| I'm trying to organise a short ski break with 2 friends and we'd like to try somewhere that we've not skied before. La Clusaz in January should hopefully have plenty of snow and be worth taking a look at........?
Ideally a large triple room (not essential....just saves the arguments about who's having the room on their own!) would suit us in a Catered Chalet with either quick access to the lifts via Minibus or ski in/out location.We've ear marked flight that get us into Geneva on the 24th just before 10am and flights departing on the 27th just after 9pm.We're hoping to ski the best part of 4 days by staying relatively close to Geneva. Any transfer or ski hire recommendations would be helpful .

We would love to look after you at La petite buche, we do have availability for your dates. The chalet sits just below road, overlooking the river borne, it’s warm and cosy with everything you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday.
Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75
