We are looking for a solution for a family holiday over New Years.
There are two families each with 2 adults and 2 children (4 and 2). In total there are 4 adults and 4 children (8 people).
Our main constraint is budget! We can probably spend a maximum of £3000 on accommodation in total leaving us enough money to afford flights and transfers. If your accommodation price includes flights and transfers, then we can up our budget accordingly.
We would love to hear if there are any options out there, catered or not, but ideally with space to entertain children who won't be skiing all the time. If you have access to a pool - even better!
We are fairly flexible on our requirements, but obviously preference would be closer to slopes so we can take the smallest ones sledging, and near to a ski school so the older children can have lessons. As we are two families with young children, we would prefer somewhere that won't be affected by an active and late night apres-ski scene too!

Our chalet-hotel offers half board accommodation in snow sure Plagne 1800, part of the Paradiski area. We are next to the slopes and two chair lifts, with the ski school meeting point just across the street.
Facilities include:

2 Bars with terrace (The Bobsleigh Pub and The Skeleton Bar).
Lounge Area, books and DVDs
Ski and Boot Lockers
Luggage room for early arrivals or late departures
Ski passes can be collected on arrival if pre-booked

Covered parking at the hotel is 50 euros a week but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred. Eurostar travellers have just a short ride up the mountain to reach us so there are no lengthy transfers.

Space is the key with this chalet, great sized bedrooms and en-suites in every bedroom, split over 3 floors and two lounge areas, great to have a spare one for the kids. Also its charm being located in a traditional farming village, so you get a home from home experience, not a large resort one.
A few bars and restaurants are just down from the chalet, making it a great sociable place , if not tired from being out all day skiing.

Our largest catered chalet which is located just above the village centre for easy access to the piste and resort amenities.
 
This price is for the chalet only, unfortunately the transfers and flights aren't included. (we also are unable to book flights for you due to our ABTOT bond)

I have Chalet Les Berots still available for New Year. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6-8 people (if 8, 2 people sleep on the sofabed in the lounge, though if the 2-yr olds can sleep in travel cots that wouldn't be necessary). Les Berots is 10 mins walk from the centre of Morzine and only 150m from the ski bus stop (and there's also a great sledging slope there). It's quiet at night.

The rate is €1900 including linen, towels and end of stay cleaning - which would leave you plenty of budget for flights at a decent time of day and private transfers!

Will-i-ski? is an independent owner run chalet company dedicated to bringing you a unique holiday you will not forget. We (Phoebe and Charlie) currently run the Chalet Marmotte in La Plagne 1800 and feel the chalet can deliver everything you require for a traditional and cosy chalet holiday.
The Chalet Marmotte sleeps up to 15 people in various room configurations. There is a lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and a separate ‘snug’ with games console and a TV for watching DVD’s.
We also have a Sauna to help soothe the muscles after a long days skiing.
La Plagne is the perfect setting for a great holiday’s skiing, its varied and can cater to all levels of skier or snowboarder. It is also linked with Les Arcs to make up the joint area called the Paradiski offering 425km of pistes, the second largest ski area in the world.

• Catering service including Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and a 4 course evening meal with beer and wine.

Location wise, we are just a 5 min walk from the town centre with its many restaurants, bars and cafes. We also have the local free ski shuttle bus stop directly on our doorstep. We are just 1hr & 15 min drive from Geneva airport
We can arrange airport transfers for you at a cost of 25 UK pounds per person each way(50 UK pounds return). We're happy to help you arrange lift passes and we also partner with a local ski/boot hire shop to make the equipment hire process as enjoyable(and well priced) as possible for you.
