We would love to look after you at La petite buche, we do have availability for your dates. The chalet sits just below road, overlooking the river borne, it’s warm and cosy with everything you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday.
Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75

You can arrive/depart any day of the week and any time of day.
Chalet Sherpa has a fantastic friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The chalet sleeps up to 25 guests in 10 bedrooms. Chalet Châtelet is a unique owner-run catered eco chalet on the French/Swiss border of the Alpes set in a spectacular mountain panorama. On the first floor a special log stove heats the sitting room with huge comfy corner sofa. As well as downhill skiing for all abilities, it specialises in ice driving, husky sledding, ski-joering with ponies, cross-country skiing and snowshoe trekking in complete tranquility. All French Portes du Soleil lifts with 650 Km of pistes are within 5-30 minutes of the chalet.
