The Grand Massif is the 4th largest ski area in France. Fantastic for all levels.
Chalet Ski-Massif is at 1300m, off the mountain road from Samoëns (720m) up to Samoëns 1600, with uninterrupted views of valleys, mountains, pine trees and snow surrounding the chalet. An idyllic spot and a beautiful drive up and back to the slopes.
I will drop you at the top of a green/blue/red piste within 5 minutes of leaving the chalet - well ahead of people taking 40 minutes to come up from the villages. You can be ahead of the queues and half way to Flaine before the crowds have even put their skis on.
All you need to do is to book your flights. We'll help you with everything else: from transfers, passes, rentals, getting you to the slopes, lessons/guides, and any advice you'd like for the mountain.
This season I have an excellent chef who is passionate about food. Amanda will spoil you with her delicious freshly cooked meals while her husband Peter serves you a selection of 10 wines. Beers and aperitifs are also included.

We can offer you Chalet La Luge in the village of La Tzoumaz, Verbier, Switzerland, just 1 hour 40 minutes from Geneva airport. The chalet has 6 en-suite bedrooms, an open plan living/dining room with log fire, TV and media PC, a separate TV room with cable TV and Wii, fast WiFi throughout, a sauna, hot tub and stunning views.
We offer a cooked breakfast everyday (not just 6 mornings), homemade cake with afternoon tea everyday and a 5 course evening meal with wine on 6 nights.
The chalet is about 500m from the ski piste and we are happy to drop you off in the mornings to get first lift. The skiing in La Tzoumaz is great for beginners and intermediates and it's only a quick ski through to Verbier to access the more challenging runs. Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations. There are also a few bars where you can enjoy a nice drink after skiing.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.
The chalet sleeps 19 in 8 en-suite bedrooms of which; 6 double/twin rooms, one triple room and one family suite.
There is lots of space for everyone to enjoy their evening as they please. Whether it’s sat in the hot tub watching the sunset, reading a book by the log fire or having a drink in our bar.
