I am looking for suggestions for a family of 4 who will be driving from the UK for the first week in Jan.
We would prefer accommodation either near the lifts or near to a regular ski bus, unless transfers to and from the slopes is included.

Our apartment that is situated right next to the pistes in the lovely ski resort of Morillon 1100 (about 7 hours drive from Calais), part of Grand Massif with 265km of pistes and some great off-piste is available.
Dates: Sunday 3 January to Sunday 10 January
Price for those dates: £450 (just over £110 each for the four of you)
The apartment can sleep up to 6 people or 8 at a push and so would be suitable for your family of 4. It is a duplex style apartment with two bathrooms and a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
When you walk out of the apartment building you're literally just 20 metres from one of the two chairlifts in Morillon 1100, with the other one just 50 metres away. At the end of your day skiing you can ski right back down to the apartment buildings.
Morillon 1100 is a great ski village with bars and a number of restaurants all within one or two minute walk from the apartment. There is a grocery store that sells all food and drink that you could need and this is right next to the apartment building. There are a number of ski rental shops to choose from, if required and a lovely boulangerie. There is also a very large free car park situated just one minute walk from the apartment building.

The village has restaurants, bars, supermarket, , boulangerie etc all you could need!

Downstairs consists of open plan living room and dining area, bedroom 1 with kingsize bed with corridor to a bathroom with shower, additional bathroom with shower, fully equipped modern kitchen.
Upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms - 1 double and 2 x triples with 3 adult size single beds and a landing area with sofa TV and games, DVDs and books in English and French.
There is a balcony with double doors and lovely mountain views.

Our chalet is situated just outside of Vaujany, a small, authentic Alpine village with great amenities such as a swimming pool, bowling, amazing day care, an ice-skating rink and daily animations. There are also a few bars where you can enjoy a nice drink after skiing.
We are part of the vast ski area of Alpe d’Huez which is superb for people of all levels of skiing.
Our spacious lounge has a large log fire. On the ground floor we have a bar and dining room where James cooks fantastic three course evening meals.

We would love to welcome you and your familyy to Morzine this coming winter!
We have 6 catered chalets and over 30 self-catered apartments and chalets, all centrally located in Morzine, which you can see here: www.moremountain.com/properties. Our catered prices start at £899 pp. We also offer daily a “pick up and drop off” service to and from the slopes so you don’t need to walk anywhere in ski boots!
In summary, our Fully Catered Service at More Mountain includes 7 nights accommodation, welcome drinks and canapes, cooked breakfasts, 5x 4-course evening meals with wine and cheese, freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea and daily housekeeping.
In addition to our ski lift “pick up and drop off” service, try our “apres ski boot drop” service where we pick you up from the slopes, swap your ski boots for shoes and drop you off at the pub so you can walk back to the chalet at your leisure!
Ski / Board hire can be delivered and fitted direct at the chalet when you arrive, plus we help you organise your ski lessons before you arrive, book your airport transfers and also have your lift passes waiting for you.
