I'm looking for snow sure options for the 2nd week of easter.
Ideally 9th to 16th but would also consider 7-16th, 8-16th, 8th-15th in that order of preference due to flight availabilty.
Needs to be within 3hrs of GVA, GNB, or CMF.
We're a group of 5 adults and 2 children (3 and 5 years). Happy for suggestions of self catered or catered as long as there is room for the adults to relax whilst the children are in bed.
Ski area not massively important as long as snow is reasonably snow assured. More important is convience for family logisitics as it will be the first time skiing for the two children.
All suggestions welcome.

The resort is always open through the easter holidays and Avoriaz has always had plenty of fantastic skiing late season. It can be slushy in the afternoons but the kids will be warm and you can enjoy a beer outside in the sunshine. The Chalet is based in Montriond, 1km from the centre of Morzine in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil. The chalet has a hot tub, sauna, a beautiful sunny balcony and ample comfy space to chill with a second lounge for games or movie nights.

Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing up to 2500m height. The lift from the village takes you to 1600m.
However for this week only Flaine and Samoens resorts are due to be open and the price below is heavily discounted to reflect this (as will the ski pass). If the intention is to give the kids the first introduction to skiing this will be fine and of course with Flaine there will still be plenty of snow sure skiing available to you and there is plenty to do on and off the slopes.

We could offer you sole occupancy of Chalet Genevieve in Val d'Isère from Sunday, 9th April.
You can ski to the door of the chalet, which is owner-run and situated in the exclusive La Legettaz area at the foot of the Solaise slopes. In the mornings you just need to walk 100 yards down the road before putting on your skis. All five rooms have their own facilities. There is an outdoor hot tub, large sun terrace, log fire, mini bar, boot heater, foot massager, free WIFI, indoor and outdoor parking, to say nothing of the beautiful views up the Manchet valley and over the village.
The Espace Killy has over 300km of piste to suit all abilities and the off-piste possibilities are endless. The village is at 1850m and with two glaciers, you will be assured of good snow. The après-ski entertainment is also varied and plentiful.
Included in the price are a self-service, continental breakfast (fresh bread, croissants, cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit); on four evenings we serve canapés, a main course and dessert with select wines and on the fifth evening a raclette is provided. Tea, coffee and fresh fruit are available at all times.
The living area is cleaned twice during the week. Daily cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms is not included but can easily be arranged.
It is a 10 minute walk across the piste into the village center or you can make use of the free bus service that drops you right outside the chalet.
The price for your group for the week is 12,000 Euros.

Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines and beer with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,
A soundproof Cine’ room with a large screen for watching DVD’s.
We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

Chalet Papillon sleeps 8/10 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. It has a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area with underfloor heating and great views. Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.
Chalet des Amis is next door to Au Coin du Feu so can be used as a private chalet or as an annex to the hotel.
