Just wondering what might be out there for a family of 8 adults, 3 children and 2 infants during February half term?
Never really done something with a group this size before, as I normally travel with just myself and a friend. Would be interested to see prices for catered and self catering accommodation. I guess a rough budget of £10k ish? Probably needs a minimum of 6 bedrooms.
Some of the family is coming from France and some from England, so somewhere reachable by train and bus/car would be preferable. A mix of beginners and experts in the group.
Hot tubs are always a bonus as well.

We may have just the thing for you in Morzine with a chalet that we only took on a few weeks ago. Chalet Le Prele (not shown here but you will see it on our website) is offered on the Sunday to Sunday week from 16th February at £11,000 on a catered basis.
The chalet sleeps 12 technically but with infants (presumably in cots) your group will fit perfectly! There are 5 bedrooms arranged as two triples and three twins (all ensuite) but there is also space for a cot in many of those rooms. Chalet Le Prele is in a great spot near the bus stop for easy access to the skiing on either side of the valley and it does benefit from a lovely hot tub on the terrace as well as an open-plan living and dining area with log burner and cosy top floor TV area. We can help with all of the extra bits and pieces such as transfers, in-house ski hire, ski passes ready on arrival and we have parking at the front of the chalet for anyone who drives to us.

We could offer you the week arriving Saturday or Sunday £11499 including our catered and hosted service. Skiing is all above 1100m and up to 2500m so a good altitude and we’ve never had bad snow in February for the 21 years we’ve been running. We’ve also lots of snow canons should there ever be an issue.

Chalet Alice sleeps up to 14 with a hot tub and great transport links to Geneva. Lots of our guests drive out and we have a big drive for safe off-road parking. The price for the week has been reduced to 10500€ (c.£8820)
Where are we:
The chalet is based in Montriond, 1km flat walk, from the centre of Morzine in the heart of the Portes Du Soleil, perfect for a little après ski. The Portes Du Soleil is a collection of resorts and we can help you to ski one or all of them, with a fantastic mix slopes for all abilities. We recommend basing lessons out of Avoriaz 1800.
The Chalet:
Has 5 en suite rooms, sleeping up to 14 with a hot tub and a sauna. There is a second lounge for kids and ample comfy space to chill. We offer a catered service with 7 breakfasts (5 served hot breakfasts), 7 afternoon teas. On 5 evenings we will treat you to delicious 5 course dinners with unlimited wine and beer. We offer an early kids tea. Our aim is to do all we can to maximise your enjoyment and minimise any stressful moments.

I can offer accommodation in 6 en-suite bedrooms from Sunday 16th February fora week at La Ferme du Chateau. La Ferme is a beautiful renovated farmhouse in the centre of La Chapelle d'Abondance, part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski region and easily accessible from Geneva (flights and train) and Thonon les Bains by train.
The farmhouse has 6 large bedrooms, an open plan lounge dining area and an outdoor jacuzzi. It is in the centre of the village close to all the local amenities such as shops, bars including a microbrewery, restaurants and the local slopes of Cret Beni. We are also happy to drop people in Chatel, 5 minutes away, for a spot of shopping or apres and where there is a great pool complex for any non skiers.
It is offered on a fully catered basis which includes breakfast & afternoon tea each day, pre-dinner drinks and canapes followed by a 4 course evening meal(prepared by a professional chef) with wine and beer on all bar 1 night. There is an early supper for children which is a two course meal and available on 6 nights.
We also offer transport to and from the slopes allowing you to start and finish your ski day anywhere in the valley.
We are happy to organise airport transfers, pick ups form local train stations, lift passes, equipment hire and lessons if required.
The price for the group based on children being aged 15 and under and infants under 3 would be £12440.
