We’ve left it late but a change in circumstances means we can go away at February Half Term so we are looking for accommodation in a resort where we will be able to get the kids into lessons! Any recommendations for ski school options would be very much appreciated.
We are flexible on accommodation and board, but proximity to ski school and lifts would be helpful. We would prefer not to stay at too high an altitude. The kids are beginners but we are intermediate boarders, so access to a decent sized ski area would be great!

We are in Samoens which forms part of the Grand Massif
Skiing starts at 1600m and is the center of the Grand Massif ski area.
The area is made up of 5 resorts Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon and Sixt. All linked by blue runs.
In the top 5 snow sure resorts due to its micro climate sitting next to Mont Blanc. Offering over 265 kms of marked runs.
All this just 1 hour from Geneva Airport.
OWNER RUN CHALET over 20 years experience
The chalet is situated midway between the gondola and church square.
5 bedrooms with small en suite shower rooms and toilets.
The whole 2nd floor is open plan, wooden beams with a central chimney dividing the dining area and lounge.

Our Chalet-Hotel Les Rhododendrons in snow sure Plagne 1800 is part of the Paradiski area, next to the slopes and two chair lifts taking you to pistes suiting all abilities. The ski school meeting point is just across the street from us.
