We are a couple from New Zealand (28yrs old) looking to work as a Ski Chalet Host Couple this winter 2018/2019 in France. We have 4-6 years experience working in our respective professions as a Structural Engineer and a Lawyer. After spending the last 2 years working in London, we have taken a year off to travel and work in France. We have french working visas valid until May 2019.

Both of our professional jobs have involved a high degree of project management, organisation, responsibility and attention to detail. We are both accustomed to working as a team in high stress situations with demanding hours. We both have experience in customer service and client-facing roles. We recently worked at Gites in France where our work included cleaning and preparing the gites for guests, assisting with check-in, and cooking for the family who operate the gites and their friends.

We are both competent cooks and enjoy experimenting with new recipes we have picked up from our travels. We are very social and like meeting new people. In our general lives, we love hosting dinner parties, planning events and entertaining guests. Mel also has previous experience working as a bartender; a kitchen-aide; and participating in several cooking evenings for a New Zealand charity which involved creating a menu and preparing dinner and dessert for 40-50 people.

Scott can drive a manual vehicle and has a full license valid in Europe - he is now well accustomed to driving larger (caravan sized) vehicles on European roads. Mel also speaks French and is currently learning Spanish.

Overall, we are very outgoing, positive and hardworking people and think that being ski chalet hosts would be the perfect fit for us.

We look forward to hearing from you, Mel and Scott.
