Situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens with Flaine forms part of the Grand Massif Just 1 hour from Geneva.
Chalet Giffre has a great location in the town. The original farmhouse in the village with a private courtyard and the village on your door step. Just 400m to the church square and Gondola.
We are now in to our 14th Ski season our family run chalet has 6 bedrooms. log burning stove dividing the dinning area and the lounge area. We have a free bar before dinner offering beers, wines, and a few old favourites like G&T`s in front of the log fire.
Fully catered service 6 out of 7 days, cooked breakfast, afternoon tea/coffee freshly baked cakes, 3 course evening meal and cheese board served with cold beers and wine.
No walking in ski boots. Two minibuses servicing the chalet dropping you off at the Gondola 400m in under a minute. We also collect you from 5 diffrent lift stations late afternoon

We are located in Samoens which is only 50mins from Geneva and part of the Grand Massif ski area, the 4th largest linked ski area in Europe. The highest point reaches 2500m and the 80% North facing slopes means that it is snow sure throughout the season. We are located just a few minutes from 3 of the main ski lifts and less than a minutes’ walk from the ski bus.
We can also organise your transfers, ski passes, lessons and your equipment delivered to the chalet.
