| I'm looking into booking a Christmas ski trip from 24 Dec to 3 Jan this year. We're looking for a chalet trip, preferrably catered and with a hot tub. We're not fixated on a particular resort but would like somewhere that is known to be snow sure e.g. Val Thorens, Ischgl, Obergurgl, Saas Fee, Cervinia. I realise there are others but we would like to go somewhere new and have done places like Val D'Isere, St Anton and Chamonix before. We would also like a place in a reasonable village as there would be a few people in the group that are less keen skiers. The group is likely to be 6-8 people, and we would be happy to share with others as well. Keen to hear what you think the best options would be and what you have on offer?

I can offer you ensuite accomodation at Chalet de Valmorel for those dates for €900 EUROS each inc. for a 9 night stay, €750 for 7 days.
Valmorel (1450m - 2860m) is one of the most picturesque ski areas in the Alps, whilst also offering a substantial range of varied skiing.

Our Chalet-Hotel Les Rhododendrons in snow sure Plagne 1800 is part of the Paradiski area, next to the slopes and two chair lifts taking you to pistes suiting all abilities. The ski school meeting point is just across the street from us.
We provide half board EVERY day and an excellent range of facilities including

The New Year period is very busy already, but we can offer you a Christmas holiday from 20 - 27th December if that would be of interest?
Not one of the resorts on your list - but it fulfills your criteria - La Tzoumaz, which is part of the Verbier 4 Vallées area with skiing from 1500m to 3300m, masses of snow cannons, it's snow sure and some of the lifts open in November.
Although La Tzoumaz is a small resort, it has everything, including quick access into the heart of the Verbier area, with quieter and gentler slopes this side of the mountain. With more bars and restaurants opening this winter there's enough to keep the less keen happy too!
We have 6 en-suite bedrooms (twin or super-king double beds), so would offer you the chalet on a room basis, rather than sole occupancy, as you suggest.
We have both a hot tub and sauna, separate Smart TV / cinema room, log fire, fantastic views; really great food and service - see our reviews on here and Trip Advis0r for proof!
A traditional Christmas dinner, with champagne, turkey and crackers etc
1hr 40 from Geneva, happy to help arrange private transfers, 600m from the slopes (& very popular après bar) 800m from the main gondola and resort centre, we run drop offs every morning leaving you free to come back when you like on the free ski bus which stops 100m from the chalet.
Cooked breakfast options every day, homemade cakes/biscuits every day and 5 course evening meal with good wines on 6 nights.

I can't offer the full duration of your trip however as an option, I have Chalet Bouquetins in La Tania (3 Valleys) from Sun 26 Dec - 2 Jan.
Chalet Bouquetins sleeps 11 in 5 bedrooms all with either private or ensuite facilities. It has a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area with log fireplace, underfloor heating and great views. There is a separate tv lounge on the top floor, wifi internet and it is conveninetly located approx 100m from the piste and village centre.
The cost for the week is £1,090 pp on a twin share basis or £10,390 for sole use of the chalet This will include:
7 nights accommodation
breakfast each day with a cooked option on 5 mornings
afternoon tea each day
5 x 4 course evening meals with wine
1 x 2 course prepared self serve meal with wine
champagne to bring in the New Year
Discounted equipment hire and lift passes can be arranged as can airport transfers (subject to availability) and recommendations can be provided for ski schools if required.
