| | We are a family of 2 adults, 2 children (11&13) looking for accommodation for the Feb half term week. We couldn't go on our planned Christmas trip to Italy as we got covid and couldn't travel hence the last minute attempt! We are driving (via the channel tunnel) so location needs to bear this in mind, otherwise we are flexible with France or Italy. We are not beginner skiers so the resort needs to have enough space to keep us busy for the week. We don't want to have to drive to the slopes but would be happy to jump on a ski bus if conveniently placed near the accommodation. Chalet Papillon sleeps 10 in 4 ensuite bedrooms. It has a comfortable open plan lounge and dining area with underfloor heating and great views. Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, draft beer and spirits with evening meals.
Chalet Namika sleeps 16 people in either twin or triple rooms ( all en-suite )
There is a large lounge/dining area with a log fireplace and TV,

We have a hot tub on the terrace and a steam room on the ground floor.
Alpe d’Huez is the perfect setting for a great skiing holiday and can cater for all levels of skier and snowboarder. The chalet is a ten minute walk from the village, however only a 2 minute ski to the main chairlifts and gondolas.
There is also a free bus into the village which runs every 10 mins.

One drops you right outside the telecabine to ski the Avoriaz, Chatel or Les Crosets areas, and the second will take you over to the Pleney in the centre of Morzine, to ski Morzine/Les Gets. The apartment has 2 twin rooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room. The kitchen has a small electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Bed linen and towels are provided and WIFI is available.
