We are looking for two people with complementary skills to host our guests this summer (end of May to end of September 2017), with the possibility of employment for the ski season 2017/18.
Staff will duties are:
- providing food for guests. For the summer this will include hot & cold breakfast options, afternoon cake (and pasta salads for hungry cyclists) and three course evening meals.
- menu creation, budgeting and a weekly shop.
- chalet housekeeping including cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas.
- hot tub & sauna maintenance and laundry
The successful people will ideally have experience of hosting or working in a chalet or the hospitality industry. Commercial experience is preferred, but cookery school course training or a keen amateur chef would be considered.
A friendly outgoing personality is essential to interact with our guests (including children). An ability to work on own initiative, an eye for detail and an ability to maintain high standards are key.
Current UK/EU driving licence is essential as is a UK National Insurance number.
