Couple required (Chef & General assistant)
Job Details
We are looking for an enthusiastic couple to help out in a small family run hotel (20 people) in the Italian Alps.
One of the positions is for a chef to cook evening meals, the other position is a general position with roles including a bit of childcare (our children), cleaning in the hotel when required and waitressing in the evening.
Hotel Bianca, Bardonecchia, Italy.
This is a great opportunity to get away for the summer. Set in the beautiful mountain resort of Bardonecchia which is home to 400km of downhill mountain biking, climbing, walking and some fantastic scenery.
We are looking for an experienced chef who can create their own menu offering 3 courses with choices for up to 20 people a night.
The other person will be offered a general role which is varied around looking after our 2 children (2 girls aged 3 & 5) taking them to summer school, a bit of cleaning and waiting on tables in the evenings.
Requirements
Chef
• Previous experience working in a catering operation as a cook/chef
• The ability to work and run a kitchen by yourself
• Some knowledge of Italian and English
• Must be available from the end of June - September
General assistant
• To be good with children
• Good time management
• Some knowledge of Italian and English
• Experience in hospitality and waiting on tables
• Must be available from the end of June - September
