Hello everyone!

My partner Caroline (27) and I, Charlie (26), are looking for work in the Alps for winter 2017/18 and beyond, either in chalet management, in a private household position and maintenance/driver roles. We would like to be based in Austria, however we are very open to suggestions.

My partner is a native German speaker, fluent in English and beginner level French and Italian, whilst I am a native English speaker with a working proficiency in French.

We are currently both working in the hospitality industry as resort managers for a walking holiday company in the Hohe Tauern area of Austria. Together we have over 12 years experience working in hospitality. We both have experience managing chalet teams of up to ten people, accounting, professional driving (airport transfer driver, resort chauffeur, equipment delivery drive in small HGV) and food preparation. For several years we have looked after the cleaning and housekeeping in chalets and with attention to detail we have ensured high standards, even on the most demanding changeover days. Working for a small company with a high number of repeat guests, in our role as hosts we particularly enjoyed meeting our new and returning guests and getting to know them not just as guests but our friends. Caroline loves to home cook and bake, whilst I am a qualified ski technician and boot fitter.

We both have full, clean driving licences, UK bank accounts and NI insurance numbers.

Location: Samoens 1600, The Grand Massif		Hi Charles and Caroline,

We are looking for a couple to join our team of 4 in running Chalet Ski Massif in the Grand Massif in France.

The activities that we would split between the four of us are:

Cooking - Breakfast, Afternoon Tea and Dinner, and then serving/cleaning up afterwards.
Driving guests to and from the slopes
Keeping the chalet clean and tidy.
Snow clearing, so we can get the minibus and Landrover out in the morning but we do have a snowblower (like a big lawnmower) which makes it easier.
Keeping the fires lit and the wood store stocked up
Changeover day which is a whole chalet clean and deep clean of the kitchen.
Generally helping the guests out with other things they might need, like booking a restaurant for chalet day off, or they might need help getting their children sorted out in the mornings with all their equipment etc.

We ran the chalet on our own last season and came to the conclusion that its just too much work for 2 people, hence why we're looking for another 2 to join us this year. We're really flexible in terms of who does what, so we'd be keen to discuss skills and experience and then we can work out how we divide the work out between us.

Our objective is for it to be fun, and for everyone to get enough time to ski.

Please send your CV's and photos to me if interested in working in a small family business , 5 bedroomed catered chalet in Morillon France.
You would be mainly responsible for preparation and serving the 3 course dinner , breakfast and cake for 8-12 people .Also for keeping the chalet clean and tidy and changeover days.More details available.
