I am a professional chef and own and operate my traditional Savoyard chalet in the lovely, unspoiled village of Samoëns which is about 1 hour from Geneva airport. Assistance with transfers. | Hi Andrew I can offer accommodation at La Ferme du Chateau (www.savoiefaire.co.uk) which is in the centre of La Chapelle d'Abondance, close to Chatel, in the Portes du Soleil and 1 hour 30 minutes from Geneva. We have either a family room for 4 or 2 separate rooms available. There are plenty of activities available in the area including mountain and road biking (we can organise bikes for hire including electric bikes), horse riding, hiking, white water rafting, canoeing etc. There is a lovely sports centre in Chatel with pools and wellness centre plus gym and there is a lakes nearby (30 minutes) where you can swim plus all the activities on Lake Geneva within half and hour from us. La Ferme has 6 large ensuite bedrooms, spacious open plan lounge and dining area, plus large flat garden in which to relax or run around (depending on your age!). It is available on a B&B basis or half board or a mix of both. The price for a family room on B&B basis is 160 euros per night or 100 per double/twin room and the 3 course evening meal with wine and coffee is 25 euros per adult and 18 for children.
