Chalet Couple
We are a small, family run company with three chalets in La Tania, all next to the piste with hot tubs, ensuite rooms, wifi and UK TV.
We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working people to join our team. Almost half of the positions have already been filled by returning staff.
Six days a week, you will provide breakfast, afternoon tea, pre dinner canapés and a four-course dinner with wine (also children’s high tea when required). (A fixed menu is provided)
The chef will be in charge of keeping the kitchen spotless and well run and assisting with other chalet duties(such as cleaning the lounge/dining room, making beds etc), maintaining at all times good health and safety practices.
The Chalet Chef is supported by a Chalet Host, who takes care of all housekeeping duties, which include setting up the table and serving at meals, washing up, assisting the chef in the kitchen and cleaning the chalet on a daily basis
You will welcome the guests, assisting with lift passes, ski hire, ski school and perform a welcome speech. You must create a welcoming and relaxed environment in the chalet and ensure that the highest level of service is given to your guests at all times.
Quality staff accommodation, free wifi, a supportive friendly management team and staff days/nights out in the season.
What we are looking for
Ideally, a recognised catering qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds Chef Qualification, or extensive experience in a professional kitchen.
A background in customer service and experience in food preparation and cleaning is essential for the chalet host.
