I’m pleased to let you know we have availability at la petite buche for your dates, the chalet sits in a quiet location just below the road and looks on to the river Bourne, it's a hidden gem. The chalet is warm and cosy with all you would expect, wifi, uktv, a good dvd library, linen, and a roaring fire, for those chilly nights.
The pretty mountain village of Le Grand Bornand is only a short flat walk away, and has lots of lovely bars and alpine restaurants to chose from. The telecabine to the slopes is a short distance away and gives access to some great pistes.
We are both chefs in Crete during the summer so you will be well fed, (specific dietary needs can be catered for with notice). Ski school, private lessons and transfers can all be organized for you, it’s your holiday. Le Grand Bornand is only an hour from Geneva airport, so makes it a great spot for short or long stays alike.
The price per person per night, bed breakfast, and a lovely evening meal (wine and beer included) is £75

We would love to welcome you to La Vieille Ferme for the 7 nights commencing either Saturday 16 or Sunday 17/03. Our lovely owner-run catered chalet is in St Gervais Mont Blanc, still a hidden gem of a resort not visited by tour companies and part of the huge Evasion Mont Blanc ski area. Geneva airport transfers take only 1 hour. Our price for 2 of you in an ensuite double room is £545 per person for 6 nights half board accommodation,and 1 night B&B only, and INCLUDING FREE return Geneva transfers and daily door-to-door transport to and from the lift, so absolutely no walking involved! An early flight in and an evening flight out would ensure at least seven and a half days skiing for a seven night stay!
St Gervais forms part of the huge Evasion Mont Blanc ski area with over 430 kms of pistes on the one reasonably priced pass. We have pistes for all levels, from intermediate to expert skiers; there is also lots of good off-piste, both easy and difficult. Our chalet, La Vieille Ferme, overlooks St Gervais Mont Blanc and has superb views of the mountain itself. Marie's cuisine, the warm natured ambience of our supper table and the size and comfort of our chalet have ensured that we have a very high return rate! We can pre- organise any ski hire so that you waste the minimum amount of time when you get here, and ski passes can be booked online and delivered direct to us to await you arrival.
