We're a group of 7 adults and 6 children (aged between 2 and 9) looking for either a catered or self-catered chalet. We'll want at least 3 or 4 double rooms and then another 3 twins - or 2 twins and 1 triple.
The key criteria for us is ease of access to the slopes and specifically to ski school meeting points. We will have 3 children all starting ski school for the first time so want it to be as stress-free as possible.
We're also looking to be located in the higher resorts of the La Plagne or Les Arcs areas since we'll be coming later in the season.

The resort
La Tania is renowned for being a good value resort from which to ski the celebrated Three Valleys. With a friendly atmosphere and good apres-ski venues as well as restaurants ranging from good old pizza to Michelin-star dining, the village attracts young families and groups of skiers and boarders.
Fast access to the rest of the three valleys. The slopes back into La Tania are north facing and hold the snow well.

Samoens is a fantastic traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Chalet Namika is an independently run chalet by Ian and myself (June). We aim to provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can chill out after an exciting days skiing. Chalet Namika is a ski in, ski out chalet situated on the sunny slopes of Alpe d’Huez which benefits from glacier skiing. We offer a high level of service with excellent food and complimentary fine wines, beer and spirits with evening meals.

Location: Peisey&Vallandry, Paradiski France | I have availability in my 12 bed catered chalet La Grange d'Alice at Les Arcs for w/b 11th April 2020. You can ski to the door, and the lifts and beginners area are 150m from the chalet.
The chalet has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas with TV, sauna, hot-tub, wifi, log-fire, minibar, superb catering and hospitality (our 15th season). We can arrange lift passes ready on arrival, and we can reccomend an ski hire company who deliver and fit in the chalet.
There is easy access to the ski school at Arc 1600 via the funicular, so very little walking needed. Also it would be possible to arrange minibus transport direct to the ski school if required.
Price would be €9000 euros for exclusive occupancy for up to 12 people.

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, sauna, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All bedrooms are newly renovated this summer,( photos will be on web site next month). Abigail offers ski in ski out onto the green ( snow cannoned nursery slope in La Tania) and this is where the children will the start their lessons so all easy and guaranteed.
Chalet Abigail also boasts a modern open plan lounge/dining and kitchen opening onto a private garden and terrace with a seclude hot tub Jacuzzi, in the garage area there is ample ski storage, boot warmers and outdoor private parking for uptown 2 cars.
We also offer return airport transfers, ski and boot hire, in house flexible childcare and ski pass delivered to your chalet. We will be happy to help you find the best ski lessons and instructors.

We have a chalet comprised 6 ensuite bedrooms 4 of which sleep 4 and 2 of which sleep up to 4. Whilst the rooms have single beds they can be pushed together to serve as doubles and our guest like that they have their own duvets to snuggle into.
The chalet is located in Les Arcs (Peisey Nancroix/ Peisey Vallandry)
The chalet is available self catered with upgrade to catered via our concierge service should you require that option.
The chalet is minutes from the free navette that runs at the top of the village and will take you into the resort where the ski schools and the lifts are located
We took our grand-children last year at this time of the year so getting to ski school is not a problem. If you have a car it will of course be quicker to get them to school.
Our chalet is available from Sunday 12th April as our changeovers are Sundays when we've found travel is much easier for our guests.
The price for that week self catered is £2500.
