Accommodation:

Access to the house is at ground level leading into a large entrance hall with the original vaulted stone ceiling.  This area provides ski equipment storage, having wooden bench seats (made from original timbers) lifting up to reveal boot storage with underfloor heating to provide boot drying.

On this level there are two comfortable twin bedrooms each with ensuite WC, shower and washbasin.

A spiral staircase gives access to a large, comfortable living and dining area, kitchen, utility room and guest WC.  Full height sliding glass doors and a south-facing balcony run along the length of this floor, looking over the decked garden and the wildflower meadow sloping down from the parking area.

The living area has four settees and three ottomans clustered round a low table and a wood burning stove.  There is a large flat-screen TV, Freesat sattelite, and blu ray player with “home cinema” speakers, Ipod dock and Internet Radio.  The dining area has a large French walnut table seating up to twelve.

The modern kitchen has a large French range cooker, granite worktops, stainless steel sink, Siemens dishwasher and Samsung American fridge freezer. The kitchen is fully supplied with all plates and dishes, glasses, mugs, cutlery, cooking utensils, pots, pans etc.  Off the kitchen is a utility room with double sink, microwave, Miele washer dryer, Miele vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.

From the living area the spiral staircase rises to a large mezzanine overlooking the dining area.  There are also two cosy ensuite twin bedrooms with WC, shower and washbasin and a large ensuite double bedroom with WC, bath, shower and washbasin. All of these bedrooms have exposed beams and large triangular “barn” windows.

"This is a review we have just received on another site but I am so proud of it that I thought I must share it here.....

We stayed here for a week's skiing in nearby St. Martin as an extended family, of 6 adults and 3 children. The house is immaculate and every bit as comfortable, spacious and well kitted out as in the photos. We got so much enjoyment out of coming home from a days skiing, cooking dinner in the lovely kitchen with every kitchen aid you could think of and then sitting down in front of a roaring fire for the night, followed by a great nights sleep in super comfy beds, every bedroom with it's own ensuite. Perfect! We would highly recommend this property and hope to go back again next year.
Date of arrival - 28 December 2019"

Fantastic chalet

"Beautiful chalet. Refurbished to a very high standard. Kitchen very well equipped. Bedrooms very comfortable. Chalet warm and cosy. 10 minute drive to the carpark in St Martin and 20 minutes to Val Thorens so our skiing was not limited by the lack of snow this season as Val T had plenty. Would high recommend chalet particularly for 2 families like us" Joski 01 Feb 17

"Stayed at the house over New Year 2015/2016

House:
Very comfortable beds, very warm, beautifully decorated with high quality finishes, hot powerful showers, fully equipped with everything we needed, warm floors - great for drying boots downstairs. Great social space with the kitchen, dining and sitting areas all flowing from one to another.

Anything Missing:
Maybe add soap to the bedrooms - we bought some next day but had to use shower gel to start with. (I plan to provide a guest pack of shower gel, soap and shampoo for next year. MR)

Cleanliness:
Spotlessly clean, beautiful thick sheets and cosy goose down duvets.

Transport:
Travel and arrival instructions clear? - Yes, no probs at all.
Access and parking at the house OK? - No problem, was fine for 3 cars.
Parking by the bubble lift at St Martin OK? - Yes, always found a spot.
Parking in Les Menuires? - More of a challenge esp if you don't speak French."

Luxurious accomodation in a 5* resort

"Myself and a group of friends stayed here recently and had a fantastic week. The chalet is extremely spacious, all bedrooms are top notch and en suite. The huge open plan kitchen-living room is perfect for groups. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped, moreso than you would ever expect and the large U-shaped couch around the modern wood-burner is sociable and cosy. Underfloor heating throughout the chalet provides comfortable, permanent heat and the heated ski boot boxes at the front door are an extravagance you end up wondering how you ever coped without! Saint martin village is a hop and a skip up the road by car and is perfect for everything you need. As saint martin is quite far down the three valleys, your long ski home to saint martin in the afternoons is a daily highlight. As are the comparitively cheap drinks in the busy bar at the bottom of the slopes!" rorgorm 18 Feb 16
