Hotel Blü – bin so frei

The comfortable hotel "Hotel Blü - bin so frei" lies in the middle of the pedestrian area of Bad Hofgastein along with its cafés and restaurants. A ski bus stops in the immediate vicinity (approx. 20 m away) and takes you to the approx. 1 km distant "Schlossalmbahn" lift. Access to a cross-country trail can be found about 450 m away.

Facilities

The Hotel Blü is composed of a main building and a side building (the "Baumhaus", which was newly built in the summer of 2020), both of which are connected via an underground passageway. The general facilities include a recception, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar, library and ski cellar. Furthermore, the hotel also has a charging station for electric vehicles as well as fee-based parking spaces (upon availability). Free parking spaces (subject to availability) can be found in the vicinity of the hotel.

The approx. 500 m² large Himmelblü spa is located on the 5th floor of the building, over the rooftops of Bad Hofgastein, which invites guests to relax with its Finnish sauna, organic sauna, panoramic relaxation room, panoramic terrace, rooftop garden and large yoga room (opening hours as per info in resort).

In addition, you will receive the Gastein Card for numerous reductions, such as reduced admission to the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein (as per info in resort).

Board

The already included half board consists of a rich, regional breakfast buffet as well as a 3 courses from the hotel's a la carte menu (between 11:00 - 17:00, freely selectable time) or a 3-course menu of choice (Blü Taste menu, from 17:00). Á la carte orders are possible on request, and in some cases for a fee. On Christmas (24/12) and New Year's Eve, a gala dinner will be served. Vegetarian alternatives are also available, and on request, lactose-free meals can also be prepared.

On site you will receive 1 x voucher per person and stay for a Blü aperitif from the Blü card (valid for bookings of 4 or 5 nights) as well as 1 x per booking of 7 nights a bottle of Blü wine in your room on arrival (non-transferable, no cash redemption, see info on site).
