"This is our third year skiing in Nendaz. We stayed in a Ski World catered chalet previously, but that experience pales in comparison to the week we had at Chalet Grand Loup!
First, the property is just beautiful. Steve and Karen designed and built the chalet themselves, and they thought of everything. Four well-appointed en-suite bedrooms, lots of living space, sauna, hot tub and ski gear storage.
The chalet benefits from wide-sweeping views of the mountains, which you can enjoy from almost everywhere in the chalet. There are lots of nooks and living areas where you can enjoy a book or get work done on the laptop, while gazing at the scenery.
Karen and Steve are native Brits who have worked their entire careers and owned businesses in the food and hospitality industry, so they are natural and very skilled hosts. They contacted us in the weeks leading up to our arrival to recommend airport transfer companies, and offered to make restaurant reservations and pick-up ski passes in advance. Steve is a very skilled chef and all of our meals were restaurant quality. Our kids enjoyed Steve's cooking so much that they were disappointed to eat in restaurants on the couple of evenings we ate out. Karen keeps the chalet tip-top and clearly knows how to get everything done in Nendaz. Between the two of them, we had all of Nendaz at our fingertips!
By the way, did I mention Steve is also a qualified ski instructor with European Snowsport?
We had such a lovely time - we are already planning our return trip to Chalet Grand Loup. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and luxurious catered chalet experience in the 4 Vallees.
Thank you, Karen and Steve!"

""Heaven on earth".
This describes our general feeling of our stay at Chalet du Grand Loup.
2 Fantastic hosts, Karen & Steve, with a lot of knowledge of the region. Especially their enthusiasm, their professionalism and the beautiful location convinced us to book 2 extra nights.
Not to mention the beautiful view from the guesthouse and our room, the jacuzzi, the fantastic breakfast and the chats with Karen & Steve after every trip.
Thank you very much for this fantastic experience!

Cozy.
Quiet location but a five minute walk to the center.
Nothing was too much trouble for Steve and Karen, who gave us great advice about our stay.
They clearly love what they do.

"We have just spent a fantastic week at Chalet Grand Loup, Nendaz.
The Chalet is beautiful and offers first class modern accommodation.
Steve and Karen who own the Chalet were great hosts going far and above what we expected making the holiday a memory we will never forget.
We availed ourselves of full board (although bed and breakfast is also available) and I have to say, Steve's meals would have done the top hotels in London proud.
Karen was very helpful making sure all our needs were met and arranged special trips for us ie. A helicopter ride over Mont Blanc and the Matterhorn with a picnic on the glacier, and took us to the Four Vallies on the Ski Lifts.
Wow, what an experience!!

"Dear Karen and Steve,

Just a note to say thank you for making our stay in Haute Nendaz a wonderful and memorable experience.

You have a beautiful home and thanks for sharing it with Claudia and I. It was lovely to enjoy the sauna at the end of the day. Thanks to you both for making us welcome and spending time with us over a beer or two.

Steve, I really appreciated your guidance with skiing. Following you down the slopes was a great way to learn, mimicking your turns and matching your speed. I had a fabulous time and will definitely be back downhill skiing.

At the beginning of April we will be over in Switzerland for our next new adventure.

I hope this finds you both well.

See you again!

All the best,

Greg

"“We arrived in Nendaz by bus and called the Chalet to figure out which way to walk. We were told to wait a few minutes - Steve arrived with his truck and collected all four of us and our luggage! He then welcomed us to the chalet by offering us a glass of wine! The mountain setting is so beautiful and the interior is also beautifully furnished for comfort in both private and community areas. Each morning we could order any kind of egg we wanted in addition to yogurt, fruit, breads, etc. Our hosts were incredibly friendly - by the time we left, I felt like I'd known them much longer than two days. Karen made restaurant reservations for us for both of our nights in Nendaz. We thoroughly enjoyed both of her choices. The chalet is located an easy walk away from the town where the alphorn festival we came to watch was held. If I ever go to Nendaz again, I would not consider staying anywhere else!”
