Crans Montana

Crans Montana Ski, Snowboard & Summer Holidays

Crans Montana, originally two villages which are merging at the fringes, has been attracting skiers for over 100 years. It is set on a sunny, south-facing shelf and views of the Alps are breathtaking. The resort centres may not be the most charming, but it has a wonderful woodland setting. There is also lots of shopping available.

Winter activities include:

paragliding, swimming pools/ saunas available in many of the hotels, bowling, winter walking trails, good shopping, squash, ice rink, curling, toboggan run, balloon flights.

Summer activities include:

golf (3 courses), mountain biking, walking and hiking trails, tennis, swimming , riding, hang gliding.

Eating out: very good choice of places to eat out and menus and prices to suit all.
Apres ski: some good lively bars and clubs.
Non skiers: nice walks, funicular to Sierre or train to Sion is very easy. Montreux is also within reach.
