Set amidst magnificent scenery at the foot of the Bischofsmütze mountain and Dachstein glacier, Filzmoos is a typical Austrian village with many facilities close at hand.

Gentle nursery slopes, conveniently in the village centre, are ideal for beginners and the central 'Papageno' six-person gondola gives access to marvellous descents directly down to the village.

Wherever you ski, the slopes are usually uncrowded with virtually no lift queues.

Families and those seeking recreation will find an ideal winter or summer holiday base. Located not far from Salzburg.

Apres ski: après ski is excellent at one of Filzmoos’s characteristic bars or cafes such as the lively ‘Happy Filzmoos’ or the cosy 'Kenn-i-di' bar. Or perhaps join a sleigh ride through the forests to the romantic Unterhofalm with local folk music, certainly an ideal end to the day.
