Isola 2000 is a purpose built resort, built in the late 1960's, and is situated 17km above the original village of Isola. There are the basic shopping facilities in the Front de Neige centre. The village has better facilities with some cafes and restaurants.
The ski areas are large and consist of St. Sauveur, Pelevos and Levant in a U shape around the resort. There are slopes to satisfy all levels and snowboarders will enjoy the park and halfpipe.
Other popular snow sports are snowshoeing, skidoos and sleigh rides are offered. The apres ski is lively with over 20 restaurants, 10 bars and a couple of night clubs.
Just 90 minutes from the holiday resort of Nice, it is possible to ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon!
Lots of activities available whether you are looking for an action packed break or to recharge your batteries in the clear mountain air!
