After our first stay in 2014 we just had to book again for 2015. Well we were not disappointed! 2015 was even better!! The chalet still felt brand new and Steve and Lindsay we absolutely amazing. My husband and I normally love to try different resorts and accommodation, but with Chalet Amuse Bouche we must make an exception.

Steve’s passion and eye for detail ensure the meals are of a very high quality and the Chalet is always spotless. Lindsay is the most wonderful host and bakes amazing cakes for when you return from a hard day on the slopes! Together Steve and Lindsay make you feel so welcome you will not want to leave!

I could go on for pages and pages, but I must get on and book our slot for 2016! I cannot speak highly enough about this Chalet to friends and family. If you have a choice to make, make the right choice and book Chalet Amuse Bouche!!!

We also have had a terrific stay at Steve and Lindsay's wonderful chalet and can only echo the last reviewer's experience of chalet Amuse Bouche.
Being new to Morzine, we wondered before booking whether being located in Montriond instead of Morzine centre might have been a problem for ease of access and convenience for the slopes. However, we soon discovered that it was far better because of Steve's fantastic service. Aside from putting on your own (pre-warmed) boots, you have to do nothing but relax into the swift few minutes transport to the base of the slope of your choice where Steve hands you your skis. A text or call to Steve at the end of the day results in return transport ready and waiting when you are.
Steve's meals and Lindsay's delicious cakes were without exception delicious. Rooms are tastefully furnished (good storage) and very well equipped, with slippers and robes provided. We loved our room on the top floor with full bath and shower and a sunny south facing balcony and thought the pre-booking of ski hire, delivered to the chalet door was terrific.
Lindsay and Steve really do understand what it takes to make a really excellent catered chalet and we'd like to return!

Had a week here skiing with a group of friends. The chalet is top notch - fantastic quality of accommodation - but the hosts Steve and Lindsay really made it for us. They were really welcoming, and friendly, with nothing being too much trouble. The food was amazing the whole week too - we felt like we were eating in a restaurant every night. And steve's breakfast omelettes were awesome!

Thanks again S&L - I can't recommend Chalet Amuse Bouche highly enough!

We stayed for 5 days in January and had the most amazing time and could not fault this chalet in any way. From the moment we arrived (which unfortunately for Steve and Lindsay was very late) the welcome and hospitality was perfect. They are brilliant hosts and as others have said nothing is too much trouble, they are both incredibly attentive to their guests needs and it is clear that they are passionate and committed to making sure everyone has a wonderful time. The chalet itself is in a lovely location in the village and is like something from a magazine, simply stunning, we pinched ourselves every morning that we were waking up in such an amazing place. We had been particularly looking forward to the food as we knew that Steve and Lindsay had previously owned and run a restaurant and we were not disappointed, it is amazing, from the scrumptious breakfast in the morning (can recommend the swiss museli), Lindsay's cakes (recommend Devonshire splits) and the exquisite dinner in the evening (recommend all of it!), all delicious. Steve took us and collected us everyday from the slopes which was fantastic, it was only a very short trip to the Ardent bubble and from there you could quickly get into Avoriaz or Switzerland for some fantastic skiing. Steve and Lindsay deserve every success in their latest venture and we can't wait to return! Chalet Amuse Bouche 21 Mar 14

My wife and I have just got back from an amazing holiday. Chalet Amuse Bouche is a superb chalet in a beautiful setting. We have stayed in many different chalets in Morzine over the years but this has to be the best. What makes the experience even more memorable was our chalets hosts Steve and Lindsay. Lovely people who we now regard as good friends. The level of service was second to none and they both really go out of there way to ensure you have the perfect holiday. We are already busy planning our return trip! Thanks again and see you again soon Chalet Amuse Bouche 21 Mar 14

I have just returned from a weekend at Chalet Amuse Bouche with a group of 7 friends and we had a fantastic time.

The Chalet is brand new and has been finished to an extremely high standard with beautiful bathrooms and a gorgeous open-plan kitchen, dining, lounge area.

There is an outdoor hot tub which overlooks the mountains - its the perfect way to relax after a day on the slopes. There is also a games room and sauna!

Lindsey and Steve organised our transfers from Geneva which were great value for money and ran like clockwork with the driver waiting in arrivals wearing a sombrero. The usual transfer time is around 90 minutes. They also organised for Doorstep Skis to deliver our equipment to the chalet which was excellent and saved a lot of time.
The chalet is not ski in ski out but Steve is more than happy to drop off and collect daily from the Ardent lift.

The food was outstanding. It was like dining in a restaurant every night.
Lindsey's cakes were delicious and served every afternoon with tea and coffee.

We all had an amazing time and would not hesitate to book again.

Thank you Lindsay and Steve for an amazing time - you are great hosts and we look forward to seeing you again

We often ski in Morzine and wanted to experience the area without snow... Until we woke up Saturday morning to find a covering of snow, at the beginning of October! We happened upon Amuse Bouche and were so glad they were still offering B&B at the end of their summer season. We were late arriving due to traffic in Geneva but received a lovely welcome (and drink) from Steve & Lindsay. The chalet is beautiful with that lovely smell of new wood. The attention to detail is superb with large comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, powerful shower, fabulous breakfasts and the most lovely hosts. We didn't make use of the hot tub but I'm sure it would be a welcome end to a busy day skiing/mountain biking. The views are spectacular and we're busy working out how to arrange a return trip either for a fully catered ski trip or one of the cooking breaks next summer. Chalet Amuse Bouche 31 Oct 13

Having skied Alpe D'Huez twice in 2013 we were looking for somewhere more friendly, family orientated and with a greater range of pistes. We booked a long weekend at Amuse Bushe Chalet to investigate the area and the skiing possibilities and the options available to us as a family of 4. Arriving at the chalet we were made to feel at home immediately, our hosts Steve and Lindsey showed us to our luxurious top floor room and then took time to explain all that the surrounding area could offer us. We spent the weekend exploring the lifts ( currently only open to mountain bikers) and quickly realised that this would be the place for us in January. So much so, that we booked ! - for skiing the shower were important....as is the hot tub, the beautiful bedrooms are spacious and will welcome us after a hard day on the piste as the Beds are huge and comfy, food is amazing and watching Steve prepare food negates the need for the big TV!
We were able to choose the rooms for January but the chalet offers a selection of accommodation including family rooms and cosy doubles, all with own bathrooms.
The setting is fantastic, the Chalet is amazing, designed with entertainment, enjoyment and beautiful views in mind, the surrounding area offers great restaurants and an array of interesting characters... Have a pizza... Watch the dancing dog!.... Amongst other things..

Can't wait until January, not only to see the snow and the view but also to see our hosts again.

This is our first visit to Chalet Amuse Bouche, which will become a regular habit. We have previously enjoyed the excellent dining at Steve and Lindsay’s 1st business, the Blue Vinny and were also regular visotors to the 2nd business, their Gite in the Charente. Based on our fantastic experiences in both, we did not hesitate to book as one of their first guests to their new chalet business in Montriond. Despite having followed the build on their blog, we were not prepared for the attention to detail and the outstanding quality of the build, the decor, content of the rooms and the breathtaking views. Steve and Lindsay have left no room for disappointment on any level. To maximise the views that we awoke to each morning, we had requested room 5. Being south facing we enjoyed the sun from dawn to dusk. Morxine is only a short walk, hosting all the facilities required for any season. Peace and quiet, but not isolated. From this central base we had easy access to both Lac Leman (you must try Yvoire) and the stunning mountain passes to the South. Seeing Mount Blanc was a memorable way to end our last day. The chair lifts from Lindaret give access across the mountains to other picturesque towns and villages in the Summer, including a great route into Switzerland. Steve and Lindsay’s restaurant skills have carried over into their breakfasts. Memories of the Blue Vinny were evident in the evening meal we enjoyed through the sunset on the main terrace. As always we have saved some trips for our next visit, especially Annecy. We hope your experience is as great as ours Chalet Amuse Bouche 11 Aug 13
