Stunning superior Chalet
Dead set on finding somewhere self catering with a jacuzzi this year for the Easter holidays, we really didn't expect to find somewhere quite so luxurious as Chalet Pearl.
Everything about this Chalet makes life comfortable and easy from the electric garage door to the heated boot room and the lift.
The top floor of this Chalet is so beautiful that as keen cooks we really didn't want to eat out. A well equipped kitchen, stunning table and chairs and views over the meadow with deer grazing is pretty hard to beat.
The bottom floor is the fun floor, with its blue light up bar area, music, jacuzzi, steam room with twinkly lights and even the gym. We had a great time every day when we got back from skiing, we raced to get our swim suits on!
As if the Chalet wasn't enough it gets better. Within a 2 minute walk there is a fantastic Boulangerie (pain au choc are to die for) Sherpa shop and the most amazing, quirky restaurant serving some of the best ever raclettes.
The Town is only 10 mins walk and the staff in the bars and shops were lovely to us. Even the free car park for skiing has a lift so, ideal with children. We also went to Courcheval 1300 where there is also free parking and skiied the 3 Vallees with our lift pass.

A gem of a chalet!
We stayed at Chalet Pearl in March and had a wonderful time. It is a big, beautiful, gem of a chalet, in a fantastic location in the pretty village of Champagny, with the mighty Paradiski area on its doorstep. The pricing is really good value too, given the level of luxury on offer (hot tub, hammam, boot warmers, internal lift, huge amounts of space and lovely big bedrooms). The only 'unluxurious' thing is the fact that it is not catered, but the kitchen is brilliantly appointed and there is a small supermarket plus a yummy boulangerie both within a short stroll from the chalet, so the self-catering was easy. We also sampled a couple of the authentic restaurants nearby on a few nights -- something you never really do when your chalet is catered.
The skiing was excellent too. There is heaps for all levels up at La Plagne, while Courchevel in the Three Valleys is only half an hour away if you fancy going a little further afield. We even tried out some cross-country skiing in a valley just a little further up the mountain from Champagny which was utterly beautiful.
Can't recommend Chalet Pearl and the ski area highly enough! We will be back.

Fabulous stay!
Chalet Pearl is without exception the most luxurious chalet we have stayed in. There was so much space even for our large group and the views were to die for. It was a real treat to have extras like the jacuzzi and steam room - perfect for winding down after a day on the slopes. Great weather and snow conditions helped and although Champagny was on our doorstep we also managed a couple of days in the 3 Valleys which we were surprised was so close.
A fabulous chalet and real value for money; we'll certainly be back!
