Serre Chevalier has a large ski area - 250km of pistes - and is fairly unique, a large resort but with traditional charm and atmosphere. Strung along a valley with all the slopes on one side, the skiing offers a good slection of things to do for all levels.

Summer holidays in Serre Chevalier:

The low altitude of Serre Chevalier's villages make them great summer destinations too. Lots of activities for all the family, plus the beautiful old town of Briançon is close by.

Eating out: good choice of restaurants in all the Serre Chevalier villages, lots of traditional fayre.
Apres ski: many bars have live music. Not a wild apres ski place, but usually comfortable bars and good ambiance.
Non skiers: briançon is definitely worth a visit, especially the old town.
