Chalet Balcon du Paradis
Chalet Balcon du Paradis is a luxury chalet with an open fireplace, new sauna, outdoor whirlpool (included in the rental fare) and free Wi-Fi. It was partly renovated during Summer 2019. Location near the lift, in the ski resort Paradiski. It is built in the traditional charming natural stone & wood style. The chalet has 7 bedrooms on three floors. Upstairs is the cozy, light-filled living and dining room with large panoramic windows. The roof beams are visible in the living area/at the fireplace seating area. Very well equipped open kitchen with bar stools and stone columns - elements that are a typical regional architectural style. Additional sitting area on the mezzanine that can be used as a reading area, with sofa and SAT-TV. The single beds have the dimensions 200 cm x 90 cm, the double beds 200 x 160 cm.

Panoramic hillside location at the top of the traditional mountain village. Distance to the 'Lonzagne' lift in the top ski resort Les Arcs-ParadiSki ~ 350 m walk or ~ 450 m by car, with free parking at the lift. Freeride tour back to the chalet (no ski piste, not marked or prepared, use at your own risk). After the day's skiing, you can stroll through the old lanes of the charming mountain village of Peisey (~ 600 m away) with several typical restaurants, rustic après-ski pub, grocery store, bakery, butcher and sports shop / ski rental. An exclusive holiday quality: skiing in a mega-ski resort - living on the edge of the grown and cozy mountain village with a high quality of life.

For winter of 2019-2020 the chalet was partially upgraded and extended by a new sauna house. This is located next to the jacuzzi; it is composed by the private sauna for 4 - 6 people and an additional shower.

Altitude chalet: 1.350 m, ski area up to 3.250 m, with two glaciers: Aiguille Rouge in the Les Arcs area and Bellecote in the sector of La Plagne. Peisey-Vallandry is situated right in the heart of the vast ski area of Paradiski with 425 km of alpine slopes and 140 ski lifts.

Chalet balcon du paradis Feb half term 2012
"We were a group of 3 families, and stayed in the chalet during February half term. The chalet is very spacious, well stocked and very clean. We had a really lovely holiday there, as the snow was fabulous and the ski runs relatively clear for a half term holiday! The ski area was plenty large enough to keep us all happy for a week, with a good choice of red and blue runs. We used the cable car to visit La Plagne, and were impressed with this area also.A word of caution though, the access to the ski slopes is via a set of "lobster pots" and these do not run until 08.40 each morning. You do not have time to use the lobster pots and collect skis from the ski shop, and be at ski school for 9.00 am. It is just impossible and most people had to carry skis each day, which is a nuisance. As we had 7 young children, we had to drive each day ( there s plenty of free parking near to the slopes or at the bottom of the lobster pots), but this is not a great solution either.
Overall, the resort and chalet were spectacular and I would recommend this to you." mickey4545 19 Feb 12
