Hotel Salzburger Hof Zauchensee

The comfortable 4-star Superior Hotel Salzburger Hof Zauchensee is located directly at the foot of the Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl ski area, so that skiing down to the accommodation is possible. The centre of Altenmarkt is approx. 11 km away. A ski bus stop is about 300 m away and the entry to the cross-country trails is about 250 m away. A transfer from Altenmarkt or Radstadt train station (approx. 6.7 km away) to the hotel is available on request (for a fee).

Facilities

The accommodation's facilities include a reception, lounge, Wi-Fi, lift, TV room, bar, cafe, restaurant, wine cellar as well as a ski cellar for your equipment. Free parking spaces can be found and used (upon availability) and a parking garage can be found and used for a fee (upon availability).

The accommodation's own spa area is divided into three themed areas. To start, a spa lounge and relaxation area with different relaxation rooms (e.g. water bed relaxation room, pine relaxation room) can be used. The "Almsauna-Landschaft" sauna area with Finnish sauna, organic sauna, herbal steam bath and brine steam bath also invites you to relax. Additionally, there is an indoor pool with jacuzzi, infrared cabin and a solarium (for a fee). Massages and other beauty treatments are available for an additional charge.

For children, there are different playrooms with climbing walls, slides, table football, Lego area and cinema. Furthermore, there is a PlayStation, table tennis, table football and billiards in the "Chill-Out Lounge".

Board

Half board PLUS is included in the holiday price and consists of a breakfast buffet in the morning and savoury snacks in the afternoon (15:00 - 16:30). In the evening, there is a several-course menu of choice with salad bar and cheese board. A gala dinner and themed buffets are a weekly highlight. There is also a children's buffet for the little ones. Vegetarian meals are available daily in the menu, and gluten-free and lactose-free dishes are available upon request.
