Opening for the 2026/27 ski season, Chalet Christophe will welcome its very first guests this winter. Early availability is now open for bookings, giving you the chance to be among the first to experience this brand new boutique chalet in Bansko.
After falling in love with Bansko nearly two decades ago, we set out to create the kind of place we would want to stay ourselves — a welcoming chalet where guests feel instantly at home after a day in the mountains.
Designed for skiers, mountain lovers and groups looking for something more personal than a large hotel, our family-run chalet blends alpine charm with modern comfort in the heart of Bulgaria’s best ski resort.
Perfectly located in central Bansko, just minutes from both the gondola lift and the historic old town, Chalet Christophe is an ideal base for a Bansko ski holiday. In winter you can spend your days skiing and snowboarding in the Pirin Mountains, and in summer return for hiking, trail running and mountain adventures in the surrounding national park.
The journey of building the chalet has featured on the Channel 4 programme A New Life in the Sun — and we’re excited to finally be able to welcome guests through the door.

The chalet sleeps up to 22 guests across 9 individually designed en-suite bedrooms, offering a mix of doubles, twins, triples and a spacious quad room — ideal for ski groups and mountain holidays with friends. Inside, the chalet has been designed with relaxation in mind.
There are two cosy lounges where you can unwind after a day on the slopes, including a main lounge with a log fire and in-chalet bar — the perfect spot to share stories from the day over a drink.
Inspired by traditional Bansko architecture and built with warmth and character, the chalet combines alpine style with thoughtful modern touches. Wooden floors, mountain views and comfortable social spaces create a relaxed atmosphere that feels like a true home from home.
Facilities include a garden and terrace for sunny mountain days, a welcoming dining room for shared meals, ski storage and drying space and plenty of room to relax after exploring the Pirin Mountains.

At Chalet Christophe, our fully catered chalet weeks are designed to make your stay effortless and indulgent, so you can focus on skiing, exploring and enjoying time together.
Breakfast
Mornings begin with a generous continental breakfast to set you up for the day on the slopes. Fresh bread, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meats, cheeses and juices are laid out for you to help yourself. Alongside this we serve a fresh hot option such as creamy porridge or eggs cooked to order — perfect fuel before heading out for a day skiing in Bansko.
Afternoon Tea
When you return to the chalet you'll find a freshly baked cake waiting for you. Put the kettle on, kick off your boots and enjoy a proper chalet-style afternoon tea.
Evening Dining
On five evenings of your stay we serve a relaxed three-course dinner in the dining room at 7.00 pm.
Two Evenings Out
On two evenings each week we leave you free to explore Bansko’s fantastic restaurants. We’re always happy to recommend our favourite local spots or make reservations for you.
Wine Pairing
For wine lovers keen to try some of BUlgaria's excellent wine, a curated wine package upgrade is available with each evening’s wines thoughtfully paired with your meal.

Before you arrive, we'll help you plan every detail of your trip. We can pre-book your lift passes, ski or snowboard hire and lessons in advance, so everything is organised and waiting for you in Bansko. No stress, just straight to the slopes.
A shared return airport transfer from Sofia is included for every group in all week-long stays and our chalet minibus runs a daily shuttle service to and from the gondola. On busy weeks we also arrange early-morning departures to beat the queues at the lift before the mountain road closes; a game-changer on peak weeks.
For those who want to make the most of the mountain, we offer a day of ski guiding which is perfect for groups who want to discover the best runs and get the most out of Bansko's 70km of pistes.
Beyond skiing, we're on hand to help arrange any activities or excursions you'd like during your stay, from snowshoeing and ski touring to quad biking, horse riding and visits to the thermal springs. If you want a table at one of Bansko's best restaurants on your nights out, we're happy to take care of that too.
