Chalet Soleil

Chalet Soleil was built & designed by the owners Ian & Joanne in 2012, It is an outstanding luxury chalet built in a traditional alpine style, we have created the ultimate mountain retreat with huge open living spaces. The outdoor hot tub has amazing views of both the dents du midi and the mont de grange. Chalet Soleil is owner run and boasts a large living room with a stunning open log fire, a games room and five beautiful en suite bedrooms with TV and WIFI. At Chalet Soleil we offer quality, comfort with a five star personnal service.

Built on three storey’s, Chalet Soleil is a typical alpine retreat and features five ensuite bedrooms complete with warm fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. Four of our five bedrooms have balconies overlooking the mountains. Each is furnished in different fabrics, textures and furniture. Four of our five bedrooms can be made into either a double or a twin and most are suitable for the inclusion of cots.

The south-facing sitting room is at the heart of the chalet and features large sofas, a roaring log fire, HD satellite & terrestrial television, DVD, video, music and Ipod systems and floor-to-ceiling windows with views stretching across the mont de grange. The dining room features a beautiful oak  table and French windows which open on to a tiled patio area featuring amazing views.

An expansive terrace, running round most of the chalet, features an outdoor hot tub. There is a gaming room equipped with a Wii, Playstation, various board games, broadband and wireless Internet access. On the ground floor a laundry room, underfloor heating and a heated ski and boot room. Complete transfer service from the airport & Also private parking available on-site. 

At Chalet Soleil we pride ourselves in our cuisine, we have gone all out to source only the finest local produce. Meal times play a massive part of the whole catered experience.

Breakfast is a choice of hot croissants, bread, preserves and a choice of cereals and porridge, a range of fruit yogurts and a delicious hot option of our chef's choice.

Afternoon Tea is freshly baked cakes and other delicious homemade treats. There is also fresh fruit available at all times.

Dinner is a candlelit five course dinner. We offer a hearty, wholesome meal. We know how important it is to eat well after a day on the mountain. Dinner commences with aperitifs and canapés, followed by a tasty starter, a scrumptious main course, a delicious dessert and if you have room there’ll be a cheeseboard with local specialities to sample. Your meal will be served with some delightful local Savoie & French wines.
