Maison du Ciel, nestled in the hamlet of La Nouvaz, less than 2km from the ski station of Le Praz in Courchevel is best described as a hidden gem.  The barn conversion with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (sleeping up to 8) has been lovingly restored keeping a sense of nostalgia but modern touches add glamour and comfort.  

The property is in the heart of a beautiful 'car free' village called La Nouvaz - less that 2km from Courchevel Le Praz which has high speed télécabine to Courcehvel 1850 and chairlift to above La Tania (and easy link to Meribel). It’s part of the 3 valleys ski area.  The village is directly below La Tania and you can ski back to the house if you’re feeling adventurous. 

Le Praz is a charming village with lovely restaurants, bars, boutiques and delis - very French (but everyone speaks English of course). 

There is a bus from La Nouvaz to Le Praz and back although we would recommend you have your own car (equipped for the snow).  There is plenty of underground parking in Alpinium in Le Praz, where the lifts run from and also heated ski lockers where you can keep your skis and boots.

 

The open plan double height sitting, dining and kitchen area is dominated by an enormous glass wall offering breath taking views across the forest and valley - every hour of every day offers a changing landscape. 

The spacious master suite is situated on the lower entrance level, with ensuite bathroom featuring large tub bath and separate shower and has wonderful views from the sumptious Super Kingsize bed. 

Three further bedrooms; one double with 160cm bed, one dual aspect with double/twin zip 160cm bed and a small bunk room are situated on the first floor along with a family bathroom with bath and shower. 

There is also a mezzanine office/study, entrance hall and laundry room on the lower ground floor with butler sink, washer and dryer.  All bedding, linen and towels are provided along with Wifi, Sonos, Sky free view and Apple TV.
