Samoens is a great traditional village and the lively centre is around 5 minutes walk from the chalet. Samoens is part of the Grand Massif and gives access to a great range of skiing (265km) up to 2500m. The main lift out of the village takes you to 1600m where the ski schools meet and the main skiing begins with links to Morillon, Les Carroz and Flaine.
The price would be £8,413 for exclusive use of the chalet. This includes

Chalet Giffre is owner run and has a great location situated in the picturesque alpine village of Samoens. Only 400m to the Gondola and Church Square . We can offer you Chalet La Luge here in the resort of La Tzoumaz, part of the Verbier 4 Vallées with direct access via Télécabine straight into the heart of the Verbier area, or stay this side of the mountain with it's quieter and gentler slopes. Snow sure skiing from 1500m to 3300, we've never not skied at Christmas in 15 years.
We have 6 en-suite bedrooms, all of which can be arranged with twin or super-kind double beds, there's a sauna and. a hot tub on the terrace with fantastic views. Separate TV room.
We serve cooked breakfast options on all 7 days, there's homemade cakes/biscuits on all 7 days and a 5 course evening meal with good wines on 6 nights. Happy to serve simpler and earlier meals for the children.
And of course a full traditional Christmas meal with all the trimmings including champagne.
The chalet is situated 600m from the slopes (and very popular après bar!) and 800m from the resort centre, we'll drop you off each morning leaving you free to come back when you like, the free bus stops 100m from the chalet.
Discounts on lift passes and rental equipment, we would be pleased to help organise transfers from Geneva (1hr 40m) or it's 8 hours driving from Calais.
Price is Chf 20160 (just over £18k) but would offer a good discount on a booking made in the next 10 days.

Hotel Au Coin du Feu is a full service hotel with a chalet style atmosphere. Our 17 unique bedrooms are perfect for couples and families alike. We have an on–site crèche, a games/movie room for teenagers, a hot-tub, massage room, private bar and five course evening meals for adults. All our rooms can be booked for seven nights half board or for short breaks.
Chalet Plan des Rochers is 80 meters from the hotel and can be booked for exclusive use or by individual bedrooms. Fully catered and staffed with the same standards and facilities as our hotel, Plan des Rochers also benefits from an excellent ski to door location.

Our Chalet-Hotel Les Rhododendrons in snow sure Plagne 1800 is part of the Paradiski area, next to the slopes and two chair lifts taking you to pistes suiting all abilities. The ski school meeting point is just across the street from us.
We provide half board EVERY day and an excellent range of facilities including
– Restaurant for bed and breakfast and half board
– The Bobsleigh Pub offering a food menu, live sports and events
– Large bar terrace for bar guests to enjoy après-ski and bar food
– The Skeleton Bar offering a lounge bar for smaller private events
– Lounge Area, books
– Ski and Boot Lockers
– Luggage room for early arrivals or late departures.
– Table Tennis Table (full size)
– Mini pool table
Everything can be booked in advance with confidence, so reassure yourself by taking a look at our cancellation policy.
Covered parking at the hotel is 9 euros per day but there is outdoor parking nearby if preferred.
