Chalet Algonquin is the perfect base for skiing and snowboarding in the Paradiski area. It is a beautifully restored farmhouse where you'll experience a warm cosy atmosphere with friendly hosts and a delicious menu which is a fresh take on traditional chalet food.

"Our hosts for the week were David and Lucy, aka the dream team!!! They prepared our breakfast, and evening meal, provided a homemade cake and tea and coffee in the afternoon, cleaned the chalet and gave lots of advice about the ski areas. The food was restaurant quality on every occasion. They were always helpful, polite, professional and good company."

You’ll be amazed by the original features of the chalet with its wooden beams overhead, reclaimed timber floorboards underfoot and gorgeous exposed stonework. An open plan living and dining area with ample comfy seating is the perfect place to socialise or simply relax by the log fire. To take advantage of the spectacular views across the valley, step out onto the large balcony, a stunning spot for you to enjoy a drink. At the end of a day on the slopes there's no better place to relax than in our hot tub, brand new for winter 2018/19.

The chalet comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests. You can choose a ‘family’ room, accommodating up to 4, or a twin room. All 5 bedrooms are extremely spacious, each has a modern and clean ensuite with a waterfall shower.

Our menu is a modern take on traditional chalet food, it's fresh, beautifully presented and above all super tasty.  Fuel up ready for the day on the mountain with a delicious breakfast. We offer a different hot option each day, porridge, cereal, freshly baked croissants, baguettes, yogurts, jams, fresh coffee, tea and juices. On your return to the chalet you can relax with a delicious homemade cake or biscuits, a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks. Six evenings a week we will lovingly prepare a home cooked three course meal using fresh and locally sourced ingredients where possible. Traditional french cuisine, comforting Sunday roasts and flavourful curries are just some examples of what's on offer throughout the week. We understand that all children have different tastes when it comes to food. We offer an earlier two course 'high tea' for children that, with enough notice, we can adapt to cater for your little ones 'likes' and 'dislikes'. Our children's menu is healthy, tasty and freshly prepared. We can cater for most dietary requirements including vegetarian, gluten free and simple allergies. Please notify us when booking if you have specific catering needs.
