the ideal jumping-off point for families, sports lovers and anyone who
wants to explore the Portes du Soleil.
The resort boasts excellent snow conditions and a quick-as-a-wink connection with France over the spectacular pointe des Mossettes lift (2,277m).
In summer, the snow melts and gives way to an infinite number of hiking and all-terrain biking trails, criss-crossing the alpine pastures and leading to rustic local eateries and rest-stops. Fishing enthusiasts will love the Lac Vert, also the setting of a charming animal park with animals from around the world.
One summer highlight is the foire du bétail, an unforgettable event which showcases music, local artisans and traditions against a backdrop of local farmers conducting the very serious business of buying and selling their livestock.
